Founder of the APC, Hassan Ayariga is not happy at the wake of news that Dr. Edward Mahama has been appointed ‘Roaming Ambassador’ by H.E Nana Addo. Particularly when the PNC flag bearer once rejected an offer to be a Running Mate in the year 2000 to Ex-President Kuffour.
According to Ayariga, the post offered Dr. Edward is a demotion to what he likened as an “errands boy” to the NPP government.
The election may be over but the wounds of defeat and sorrows is far from healed— Dr Edward Mahama, flag bearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC) says he had no vote at where his pastor even voted and he suspect his vote may have been added to the spoilt ballot or may be not.
“On my part, where my pastor voted, I got zero in this election. I’m sure those so-called spoilt ballots, a lot of them will have my votes there.
Mr Bernard Mornah, Chairman of the PNC has in an interview told Graphic online that, their presidential candidate, Dr Edward Nasigri Mahama has no Twitter handle so the news circulating on social media that he has conceded defeat and has congratulated Nana Addo is false.
Mr Mornah further explained that the flagbearer of the PNC does not also operate a Facebook account.
The way Ghana politics run, all the flagbeareres would probably explain to us why they are the Lord’s chosen before the election arrives- but for now Edward Mahama has set the starting gun.
Speaking during the Upper East regional leg of his ‘Thank You Tour’, the man who has contested a thousand elections and never performed well says this time, he is going to win.
