Donald J. Trump has been leading the polls for US Republican Presidential candidate for months now, yet at the first real vote, the real estate mogul fell at the wayside, coming second to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
Cruz polled 28% to Trump’s 24% at the Iowa Republican caucuses, with Florida senator Marco Rubio finishing third, getting 23% of votes.
