A veteran former radio presenter with both the Despite Group of Companies and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Henrietta Afia Konadu Twum, popularly known as Maame Afia Konadu or simply Maafia, has died.
Maafia passed away on Wednesday, May 1st 2019, in the United States after contracting an illness. She was 68.

CEO of Engineers and Planners and the infamous brother of former President John Dramani Mahama, Ibrahim, has filed a case in Accra High Court suing United Television Ghana and Ernest Owusu Bempah for defamation.
In the suit, filed on March 22nd, 2018, Ibrahim Mahama is seeking Ghc 2m in damages and a cease and desist order for the defendants to stop making the defamatory statements.
