CNN have finally apologised for their huge blunder in covering the Ghanaian elections, in which they sought to portray the country as being in the grip of food shortages and roiling power cuts.
In a statement released to the website The Global Voices, the network apologised for their skewed coverage, writing that “the story should never have been published in its original form”.
