But no, it is exactly right- A sort of chastity belt, which covers the area of the male genitals and is locked with a padlock, is on sale in Kenya to protect men from their women.
Apparently, there has been an upsurge in cases of men getting their genitals chopped off by their partners during arguments, and this has developed as the response to it.
According to the Nairobi News:
“A men’s clothing shop in Nairobi has begun selling chastity belts that are secured with an iron padlock.
The belts have been designed to help men to protect themselves from being sexually harassed by their wives and are being sold for 2, 000 Kenyan Shillings ($20).
