PHOTOS: The Jackie ‘Appiah’ One Boat & Several Other Beautiful Boats at Cannes

Boats at Cannes (12)

It looks like actress Jackie Appiah has a boat out here at Cannes, but she does not even know about it—she wishes!

The weather was so hot last two days at Cannes so we decided to take a long break and stroll to one of the nearby beautiful beaches for lunch. On our way, I saw several beautiful docked boats and I love them—so decided to take some photos for those of you who may be thinking about getting a boat one day.

If I win the lottery, I will get something like the TommyII and if not, then in my next life, I will definitely buy it from the owner.

PHOTOS + VIDEO: My First Exclusive Cannes PARTY At Magnum Beach & Kylie Minogue PERFORMED!

Magum Party
Magum Party

Apart from the red carpet glamour and the various artistic movies-both feature and short that are associated with the Cannes Film Festival, the parties out here are CRAZY—especially the exclusive parties.

The famous Magum company behind Magum Ice cream is 25 years old and in marking this milestone, they put together an invitation only party today—and my new buddy- York Fabian Raabe (the film-maker) managed to get my fiancée-SassyChic and I into the party.

It was more than a party full of drinks, tuxedos and gorgeously dressed women. Australian popstar-Kylie Minogue was out there—and she actually performed several of her songs to explode things.

Thanks to York and his friends for the invitation!

Cannes Film Festival: Not Just the Movie Stars | The Beauty Queens Come Out Too…

Miss Cannes 2014 (5)
Miss Cannes 2014-Léanna Ferrero

In the main auditorium of the Cannes Film Festival few days ago, I met a young man who had bumped into Justin Bieber earlier that day by the beach—and had taken some photos with him, which he showed me.

Yesterday, I spoke to a journalist inside the Press Room who claimed she spotted heiress Paris Hilton and pop star Justin Bieber partying together during Busta Rhymes’ birthday party celebration at Gotha Nightclub in Cannes.

Just when I was saying to myself, everyone comes out here to the Cannes Film Festival to be part of the parties or the cinema experience, I bumped into Miss Cannes 2014-Léanna Ferrero on my way to the car park—and she was looking stunning.

Cannes Film Festival is surely not a hotspot for just the film industry persons, everyone can find something to do out here—be it work or fun!

PHOTOS + VIDEO: Stars of ‘Expendables 3’ Stopped Traffic at Cannes Film Festival as They Drove Tanks to Press Conference

Mel Gibson, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford

Earlier this morning at Cannes, stars of Expendables 3 held traffic as they arrived for a press conference at the Carlton Hotel on tanks—and I mean real tanks. These guys are totally crazy!

Though access to the press conference which took place inside Carlton Hotel was granted to certain media outlets only, the stunt/photo call which took place in front of the hotel before the press conference was opened to all press men—-and I was there to see the stunt.

The stunt with 2 tanks featured Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammer, Antonio Banderas, Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz, Glen Powell, Randy Couture and Ronda Rousey.

Unfortunately, Jet Li and Terry Crews were not present but it was really an exciting moment for those who gathered to watch these stars pull such a heavy stunt. The screaming came from every corner.

I think this will be one of my best Cannes moment…

Vivian Jill Added To The Cannes Film Festival Trip List?

blank
If info picked up by GhanaCelebrities.Com is anything to go by, then, Twi speaking actress Vivian Jill is on her way to join A-list of Ghanaian movie actors/actresses expected to grace the 65th Cannes Film Festival in France.
Following GhanaCelebrities.Com’s release of the final list of actors/actress to represent at the festival, the organisers of the Ghana Movie Awards were subjected to criticism for their inability to put in the final list a Twi speaking actor or actress.
According to our source, out of the many names submitted to Cannes office by the Ghana Movie Awards for review, only 11 were picked. The 11 are Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Martha Ankomah, Chris Attoh, Van Vicker, Prince David Osei and Juliet Ibrahim.
Consciously missing in the list are Twi speaking actors. There has been hullabaloo about the quality of movies produced in Twi but when the Ghana movie industry was in its deep mess and need attention to resurrect, it was the Twi speakers who offered the needed help to put the industry on its current pedestal.
