The 2018 BET Awards came off Sunday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
This year’s awards was historic, featuring the first time an African Act received an award on the main stage but also Kwesi Arthur’s ultimately unsuccessful bid to win the newly instituted Viewers Choice Best New International Act category.
Undoubtedly Grammy Awards is one of the world’s most prestigious awards, getting nominated is even an honour to musicians especially African musicians.
The question is how can a local artiste get nominated or win an award at the Grammys? It will take a lot of hard work to reach that height.
The 2018 Grammy Awards came off Sunday night, live from New York’s famed Madison Square Garden.
It was the first time in 15 years that the show had been held outside Los Angeles and it was undoubtedly a memorable night.
2018 is just around the corner and the nominees list for the Grammy Awards have been released.
The annual event comes off from New York’s Madison Square Garden on January 28.
Bruno Mars was the first artist to perform at the 2017 BET Awards which is currently underway at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
