The lifelong dream of American politician Hillary Rodham Clinton to become the President of her nation looks like it would remain unfulfilled.
That’s because the former first lady has finally announced whether she plans to run once again in 2020, and the answer is not going to please her fans.
The Democratic National Convention was recently held in Philadelphia, at the end of which history was made with the nomination of Hillary Rodham Clinton as the first female nominee for any of the country’s major parties.
The convention was a star studded high class event that featured the best the party had to offer – including President and Veep Barack Obama and Joe Biden, Hillary’s husband and former President Bill, vanquished primary foe Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Tim Kaine, and both Hillary and Sanders’ celebrity posses.
Former US First Lady Hilary Clinton has been projected to be the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, the Associated Press reports.
The former Secretary of State has reached the 2,383 delegates needed to clinch the Democratic nomination, according to the AP’s count- leading to the news agency’s declaration of Mrs Clinton as the presumptive nominee.
Businessman and former reality tv star Donald J. Trump took his biggest step yet towards becoming the Republican nominee for President after a huge win in Indiana led to his main rival dropping out of the race.
Trump won the Hoosier state’s primary, held Tuesday night, by a landslide 17 points- 53%-36% for Ted Cruz. The victory in the winner take all primary handed him all the state’s 51 delegates, making it virtually impossible for any remaining candidate to stop him from garnering the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination on the first ballot at the convention.

However, they allow fans to vote on a separate list, the reader poll, and the results for that one are in.
Businessman Donald Trump got back to form with a commanding win in the US Republican Presidential candidates race in New Hampshire.
Trump’s campaign hit a roadblock last week, when he unexpectedly lost the Iowa caucuses to Texas Senator Ted Cruz– but he hit right back with a big win in the New Hampshire primary held Tuesday night, picking up 35% of the vote and outstripping his nearest competitor, Ohio Governor John Kasich, who picked up 16%- by 19% points.
Donald J. Trump has been leading the polls for US Republican Presidential candidate for months now, yet at the first real vote, the real estate mogul fell at the wayside, coming second to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
Cruz polled 28% to Trump’s 24% at the Iowa Republican caucuses, with Florida senator Marco Rubio finishing third, getting 23% of votes.
