Young and talented artiste, Kwesi Arthur has made an appearance on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Destination from Africa” to share his experiences in the Ghanaian music industry.
Kwesi Arthur, the BET nominee also talked about how the young and talented musicians are challenging the status quo and adjusting to modernised sounds and the new form of music production.
Controversial Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has hinted of an interview with CNN very soon and if his tweet is anything to go by, then we pray he doesn’t repeat the gibberish freestyle he gave on BBC 1Xtra.
Shatta Wale who is currently on Twitter rants tweeted, “CNN interview soon !!! Dem go hear am lol”.
BBC 1Xtra has released Shatta Wale’s original freestyle and it is still gibberish ─just like the previous one which went viral a few days ago.
After listening to the original freestyle which was obviously released to show that Shatta Wale isn’t lyrically bankrupt, there was nothing better about it, in fact, it sounded like the previous gibberish freestyle.

Shatta Wale single-handedly headlined and filled the iconic O2 Arena in London up to the brim to the amazement and bewilderment of many people all over the world. He has even received plaudits from the biggest Dancehall artist in the world Vybz Kartel.

Shatta Wale trended last night after a video of a freestyle he did on BBC 1Xtra went viral with a lot of Ghanaians trolling him for that gibberish freestyle.
When GhanaCelebrities.Com keep blasting some of the Ghanaian musicians for their wack and gibberish kinds of music, it doesn’t mean we don’t support our own but it’s a call to keep those artistes awake.
Good music is not about bragging, making unnecessary noise on social media or tagging yourselves with undeserved titles as what the self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale has been doing here in our country.
Shatta Wale’s freestyle on BBC 1 Xtra is the definition of trash! ─perhaps, this has confirmed the widespread perception that he does ‘gibberish’ music, music with no better content.
And it’s a big disgrace to mother Ghana, himself and his deluded SM fans. How can an artiste who claims to be the King of Dancehall music in Africa disgrace himself like an ‘underground’ artiste on such a bigger platform?
