The wife of the late Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, Lydia Seyram Alhassan has been declared the winner of Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency by-election.
Lydia Seyram Alhassan beat NDC’s candidate, Delali Kwasi Brempong by polling 12,041 votes out of the total valid votes cast to emerge as the winner of the violence-marred by-election.
Ghanaians have expressed shock and panic after photos and videos of masked gunmen believed to be NPP’s Invincible forces terrorising innocent voters at Ayawaso went viral on social media.
These men were dressed up like some military special forces and surprisingly, they were in police vehicles and this has got Ghanaians asking pertinent questions about their true identity.
Kwame A-Plus commenting on the uncivilised manner in which innocent voters have been brutalised by NPP’s Invincible forces in the name winning the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election has urged Ghanaian youths to come together and boot out both NDC and NPP in 2020.
A-Plus commenting on the brutalities took to his Facebook page and tagged the NPP and NDC as “Nation Wreckers”.
