General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito has said it’s an unreasonable justification for the Nana-Addo led administration to say the previous government left behind a bad economy; hence the need for a ‘bigger’ team.

In an interview with TV3, he said: “The argument that the economy is so destroyed so they need a bigger team to do the work; it doesn’t make sense (excuse my language). Are they saying that when you have a weak economy which does not have the capacity to spend on a bigger overhead, is that the time you appoint more ministers that will require a lot more money to be paying them? When you are talking about competence; are they telling us that when you have an incompetent person doing one job, you need three competent people to be doing that same job? Is that what they want to imply?”

General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said the outcome of the December 7 election really shocked him–as he thought it would have been a ‘cool chop’ for NDC’s President Mahama.

Asiedu Nketiah said on Asempa Fm that looking at the infrastructure the Mahama-led administration put up, the NDC expected nothing short of a landslide victory.

General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has claimed that Nana Akufo-Addo’s speech plagiarism controversy has brought more shame to Ghana than his winter coat disgrace–and as such Nana Akufo Addo must acknowledge the severity of the issue and make amends.

Asiedu Nketiah rubbished claims that the plagiarism was nothing serious. He said: “It’s not petty; it’s a major issue that has brought disgrace to Ghana in the international community.”

He added: “The Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, Al Jazeera and the BBC are all running commentary on it and it shows it’s a major issue, it’s a blot on the country’s image. The needed corrections must be done.”

NDC’s Asiedu Nketiah Aka General Mosquito Kills the AZONTO Dance

NDC’s Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito or the man who borrowed his wife’s winter jacket to travel to Germany with the president is here again—and this time, he is not throwing any jabs.

Instead, Asiedu Nketiah decided to put his dancing moves on the ground—in a slow pace, doing the popular Azonto dance while “collecting all the available fans.”

This man does not have a problem at all—after all, Dumsor and the increasing economic hardship in Ghana does not even pass near his house.

That’s some cool dancing move though—Mr. Asiedu Nketiah.
