Pressure Group OccupyGhana has expressed dismay with the decision of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Marietta Brew Appiah Oppong, to discontinue a motion in the case to retrieve the Ghc 51m judgement debt owed the state by businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

The Supreme Court has ordered the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) and UT Bank, two institutions patronised by the businessman Alfred Woyome, to empty his accounts for the money to be put to defraying the Ghc 51.2m he owes the state.
The amount stems from a judgement debt he was paid back in 2009, a decision the Supreme Court later reversed, ordering him to pay back the money.
