Veteran Ghanaian comic actor and highlife musician, Agya Koo has disclosed that his downfall in the movie industry was caused by some players in the industry after he refused to go naked in a movie.
He explained that the director told him to play Okomfo Anokye role by going into a river naked, something he thought was not right.
According to statistics available to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Kumawood actor Agya Koo is more popular than Ghanaian most followed actor John Dumelo. This was revealed by the Minister of Tourism, Hon Catherine Afeku.

Agya Koo’s ‘NPP TV’, sorry, ‘Agya Koo TV’, was launched by the actor over the weekend.
The launch comes after the tourism minister announced recently that both the comic actor and music legend Daddy Lumba would be getting their own tv stations.
