Names like Abigail, Faustina, Cynthia, Rebecca, Veronica among others appear to be fading in the new generation. If even they exist they are shortened in special ways like Abby, Stina, Cee, Becca, and Vee. Thanks to modern day culture and the influence of Jay-Z and the likes. Names can now be coined from anything and some Boss Chicks are even named Yaa Kardashian or Afia Schwarzenegger.
It’s no secret Afia Schwarzenegger and Bishop Daniel Obinim are far from the best of friends. The two engaged in a brutal war of words (insults) a few years back – far before Kennedy Agyapong entered the scene. So quite apparently, the arrest of the so-called angel is a good day for Afia, who has had some tough times in recent weeks of her own.
We brought you part one of this list a while back and honestly I have been quietly lurking in the dark hoping and praying I won’t ever have to return to this list. It’s a political season and it seems most of our so-called celebrities are more interested in the political landscape than getting their sh$t together. Go ahead and click on this link if you missed the first part of this article.
This list came about when we were compiling our list of Ghanaian female celebrities who are going the distance in their marriage, and we found out most of our celebrities are single.
Like we stated in the previous article, we are honestly tired of their singleness and asked you to do a quick check of their Nigerian counterparts sine we love to compare ourselves to them. Majority of them are MARRIED.
Today we bring you the second part of a dozen Ghanaian female celebrities who we are begging and pleading with to get married.
It is no news that Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson is a liar. We have not had time to address these lying tendencies that is inbred in the actress. It didn’t start today and we don’t see it ending any time soon. It’s safe to say the Yvonne Nelson is a pathological liar, which is associated to mental disorder and she needs to seek help.
Comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger has come out to debunk the narrative building in a section of the media that she is pregnant with her second child. Afia, in a post on Facebook early Saturday, said that she is not a member of any baby mama’s association or bastard mama’s association.
These two women cannot stand each other, and because neither has any scruples, continue to diss each other in public in the most demeaning of ways. The latest issue they have decided to fight about is who copied who’s hairstyle, funnily enough.
Afia Schwarzenegger wants her fans to know she is still gainfully employed as a presenter. The presenter has been suspended for the past couple of months, leading to many critics suggesting she has no future with her employers, the Despite Group of companies.
Afia Schwarznegger has taken a slight dig at Bishop Obinim, again, after attending a service at the church of the Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah. Posting a picture online of her at the feet of the Royal House Chapel head, Schwarznegger said this was how it felt like at the feet of a ‘true prophet of God’, an obvious dig at Obinim, who she considers fake.
Afia Schwarzenegger recently suffered a huge knockout blow that she’s yet to recover from, but it wouldn’t be her if she goes a few days without poking fun at someone. Recently, Bishop Daniel Obinim, Afia’s long time foe, amazed Ghanaians with his revelation that he can transform into any animal in the spirit realm. He also said Jesus Christ often accompanies him on his spiritual forays where he bites people to death as a snake.
Ghanaian female comedian and radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger (born Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa), has concurred to claims that she is nowhere near the word beautiful. However, she claims she is proud of who she is as a human being.
Her comments came after a picture she posted of herself online went viral. Many Ghanaians who saw the picture shared their opinions; with some claiming she’s a living testimony to the fact that human beings evolved from apes.
Some of these celebrities were once married or in a relationship but for some reasons they ditched their relationships—and took off along with them their kids.
Being a ‘born one or born two’ in a typical African society is somewhat an obstacle to finding a man who would be serious with you. Of course you would easily find someone who wants to hit the TONGA but to settle down with you alongside your ‘baggage’, you must really be worth it.
Perhaps, this is the reason why the below Ghanaian celebrities are still struggling to find that ‘will stay’ man.
Now let the SINGLE mothers shout Hallelujah as we look at our 9 Ghanaian female celebrities with kids but ain’t with the father of the kids…
In an explosive exchange, the President of the Ghana actors’ guild has sent a strong warning to Deloris Frimpong Manso concerning her recent commercials on holding auditions to find the next ‘Afia Schwarzeneggar’ Delay has been running commercials on the coming auditions for about two weeks now.
Personally my main issue with the auditions for the series started when I noticed there was a price tag on the audition. Actresses who wish to audition for the role have to pay 30 Ghana Cedis which I find completely wrong.
It is unacceptable to charge or be charged for an audition. I tell people this constantly, if they are charging you for an audition, do not pay. It is within your rights as an artiste not to pay for auditions.
Anyway, that’s where my problem ends but The Actors’ Guild President Samuel Nii Odoi Mensah, seems to have a bigger score to settle with Delay. And I think he could have put his point across without sounding so Chauvinistic and disrespectful of women.
In his words on peacefm;
Delay has no right to hold auditions to search for an actress to play the role because she is neither a member of the Ghana Actors Guild nor the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG).
“This time, she will not get it easy. If she thinks she knows big men and so she can find her way through, we would also tell her that we are the Ghana Actors Guild. We have been quiet for some time now because we want sleeping dogs to lie but this time if you want to touch us, we would touch you because it is becoming too much…You see, when people come to small limelight, then they want to use it against others. It is not right. It is not right at all.”
He said her charging for the auditions is also fraudulent and she is exploiting the public.
I agree on the fact that it is fraudulent and criminal but Mr. Samuel Nii Odoi Mensah, the part on knowing ‘big men’ was uncalled for. Can a woman not rise by fair means in this country anymore? Does it always have to be through men?
Anyway, you know Delay will respond to this don’t you? And she did!
