Contemporary Highlife musician, Bisa Kdei has said he enjoys travelling to perform and meet fans but one place he won’t risk visiting is Afghanistan.
Bisa has been on tour this year, roaming Africa, Europe and some parts of America.
Khaleejtimes.com reports a 14-year-old pregnant girl was burnt to death by her in-laws in a remote area of central Ghor province, central Afghanistan. This is the latest reported case of violence against women in the country.
“She was a victim of family violence,” said General Mustafa Andarabi, the Police Chief of Ghor province. Zahra’s husband was involved in the incident, he added. He fled the house. However, we have Zahra’s father in-law and mother in-law in custody,” Andarabi said.
