Virgin Atlantic Airways Celebrates First Year Anniversary!

Virgin Atlantic Airways last Saturday the 28 day of May, 2011 at the African Regent Hotel celebrated first year of successful operations in Ghana.

Actor cum presenter Chris Attoh was the MC; the night was full of excitement as guests enjoyed the evening with fantastic entertainment, football and cocktail under African Sunset.

Entertainment on the night was provided by ‘Efya’ and the National Symphony Orchestra String Quartet. Also, there was live screening of the UEFA Champions League Final between Barcelona and Manchester United.

There are rumours that the ace Director/Scriptwriter of Sparrow Productions ‘Shirley Frimpong- Manso’ is having a ‘beef’ with the vibrant Actresses-Lydia Forson and that seems to perfectly explain why the former has not engaged the latter in any of her current movies.

In chapter 2 of Adams Apples, the day starts off rocky for Kukua Adams as she knocks heads with her new boss over her creative prowess; meanwhile Denu takes a firm decision to let go off the past which seem to rock Kukua’s world even harder.

Mama once told me never to judge a book by its cover, yet they say picture speaks in volumes. The aroma of a soup can forcibly make your appetite take a flight even when you are famished.

If producers and directors are not creative enough in their graphic designs, I wonder how their story lines will be. Posters are essentially the sole announcement of the films that are on the way.

I have noticed certain Ghanaian movie posters most times deter the public from patronizing the movies.
