Adam Johnson’s career can reasonably be written off as over, after he was handed a six year jail term for grooming a 15 year old girl for s*x.
Johnson was found guilty on a charge of s*xual touching of a minor, although he was cleared of a more serious charge of having s*xual activity with the 15 year old girl.
Trial judge Jonathan Rose handed the sentence down Thursday, telling the 28 year old former England International that the girl involved had suffered “suffered severe psychological harm”
