Former President of the Republic of Ghana and founder of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Jerry John Rawlings, has warned the party that it is laying the foundations for it to stay in opposition for a very long time.
According to Rawlings, the party’s actions prove they probably want Ghanaians to perpetually keep them in opposition.

Abuga Pele — Former GYEEDA Boss Jailed Six Years On Corruption Charges
Former National Coordinator of the National Youth Employment Program (NYEP), which later became the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Development Agency (GYEEDA), Abuga Pele, has received a six year jail sentence on corruption related charges.
Pele and an accomplice, Philip Akpeena Assibit, were both found guilty of the 19 counts they were charged with, which included financial misappropriation, intentionally misapplying public property and causing financial loss to the state.
