The NDC Member of Parliament for Salaga South in the Northern Region, Abubakari Ibrahim Dey, has entered the history books with an unprecedented donation of coffins to local mosques in his area, a donation which critics say is a desperate attempt at vote buying prior to the December elections.
The MP is locked in a tight race with Abubakari Dramani, the NPP Parliamentary candidate in the area, and his ‘donation’ is reportedly his latest attempt to pull ahead in the election.
