The man John Dumelo described as the ‘grad hawker’, Godfred Boateng Obeng, has expressed his total admiration for ‘dancehall king’ Shatta Wale.
According to the founder/owner of the A1 bakery in Kumasi, Shatta Wale has managed to succeed despite facing enormous challenges and that is admirable and something he hopes to emulate.
The owner of the A1 bakery and the infamous KNUST ‘grad hawker’, Godfred Obeng, has denied insinuations by many people that he planned his recent rise to fame with John Dumelo.
Obeng appeared on GhOne Today Tuesday and spoke on the issues surrounding his recent incident with Dumelo, and denied emphatically any claims of a planned PR stunt.
Over the past few days, Ghanaians have, merely by accident, discovered and heartily fallen in love with Godfred ‘Vito’ Obeng Boateng, the KNUST graduate bread hawker, who was supposed to be the object of John Dumelo’s ridicule but has instead become something of a national treasure.
As the story goes, Dumelo posted a photo of Boateng hawking his bread in traffic in Accra, with a caption which many deem offensive in how demeaning it was.
