Ghallywood and Nollywood actor, Van Vicker has described controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale as Ghana’s most “notorious”.
Van Vicker speaking on the red carpet at the 2018 3Music Awards disclosed that Shatta Wale remains his favourite Ghanaian artiste even though he is notorious and sometimes behaves weird.
The Chief Executive Officer of EIB Networks, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi known in Showbiz as Bola Ray in an Instagram post has endorsed Davido Music Worldwide signee Mayorkun as well as two uprising artistes in Ghana, Kidi and Kuami Eugene.
The boss of EIB Networks commenting on an Instagram post made by Mayorkun wrote, “Kudos Team, TRINITY. Africa Rising”.
So all these awards schemes are about plagues without cash prices? There seems to be a lot of jokes in the Ghanaian entertainment industry judging from what rapper Edem has revealed.
All this while we thought 3Music Awards came with cash prices but it seems we were deceiving ourselves as rapper Edem has told organisers of 3Music Awards to add money to the awards and not just present plaques to winners.
“One Corner” hitmaker, Patapaa has stated that he is the best artiste to be awarded the “Artiste of the Year” at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA’s).
Patapaa came into limelight after the release of his song “One Corner” which went viral on the internet and even brought about the one corner challenge which saw a lot of Ghanaians including public figures and celebrities taking the challenge.
