The mysteriously missing bag of the 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz mistress, Dr Effah Kaufmann, has still not been found after it was stolen in the commotion following Prempeh College’s hard fought win in the finals.
Despite initial reports by the headmaster of Prempeh College that it had been found, the handbag and its contents remain AWOL.
The most patronised National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) final in years came to a sore end as the Quiz Misteress’ handbag was stolen in the chaos of the winner’s celebrations.
Prempeh College fought off a spirited fight from St Thomas Aquinas to pick up the winner’s medal, with defending champions Adisadel College coming in at a distant third.

At the end of the final round, Dr Elsie Effah Kaufmann’s handbag has been stolen.
The 2017 NSMQ came about an hour ago with Prempeh College winning the trophy by beating Adisadel College and St. Aquinas SHS. But the woman who hosted the exciting event, Quiz mistress Dr Elsie Effah Kaufmann has had her handbag stolen from the high stage.
Per reports, the handbag got stolen when several Prempeh students stormed the main stage alongside their contestants to receive their trophy.
