Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown’s publicist sent GhanaCelebrities.Com the statement below to clear up few things on the ‘perceived’ love relationship between the actress and Akuapim rapper Pop Skinny.
The statement corrects some anomalies created by a story originally published by Peace fm. It futher states that Nana Ama Mcbrown is not in love with the Akuapim rapper Pope Skinny OR has she any future plans to date HIM as speculated by the Peacefmonline reporter.

History was made at the National Theatre last Saturday, where ‘Coz Ov Moni’, the first full pidgin musical film in the world was screened to a large crowd.
If am not mistaken, if you think of musicians M3nsa and Wanlov the Kubolor, ‘2 Stupid Dogs’, the American animated television series comes in mind. The mannerism of those two could be said to be on the same par with the ‘Coz Ov Moni’ stars.
‘Coz Ov Moni is a musical film which features M3nsa, the composer/rapper/producer and Wanlov Da Kubolor, who is seen around wearing skirt as the main characters. The likes of Samini, Reggie Rockstone, Macho Rapper, Mokin, Panji Anoff, Mutombo and others made cameo appearance.
Shirley Frimpong Manso is a Ghanaian movie producer/writer/director emerging as the biggest force to reckon with in terms of quality Ghanaian movies. She is the CEO of Sparrow Productions and a former radio personality. Unlike the job she does, she is a very private person. By far one of the most talented and highly ambitious young women in Ghana today, Shirley seeks to raise the standard of film production in Ghana and Africa by telling progressive African stories as seen through the eyes of Africans. She won the ‘Best Best Director’ at the African Movie Academy Awards 2010.

Seldom do the Ghanaian media or general public object to male artists who put out racy videos or shows. Nonetheless, the same cannot be said of female artist, the general response is harsher. There wouldn’t be a need for this article if the level of disapproval is equal between both genders. It seems when artist such as, 4*4, screwface, R2Bees etc display scantily clad vixens stiffly shaking pancake butts and thrusting their pelvis at the camera in their videos, or on stage it usually slides without a hitch.
