Shaka Zulu, Is Not A Member Of 4X4 Group! Duke Banson Warns

blank

4X4 is a rap group discovered by Buk Bak several years back. They were only two members then, namely Captain Planet (Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey) and Abortion (Raphael Edem Avornyo).

They released their maiden album ‘Siklitele’ in 2003. ‘Contestant Number 1’ followed it in 2007. Fresh Prince (Prince Tamakloe) who was featured on their 2007 hit HotGirls.com joined the group to make it three.

A lot of awareness was created in the media when Fresh Prince joined the group, so if people are saying Shaka Zulu is a member of the group, why wasn’t any alertness created?

When Richard Cobbina known as Shaka Zulu was arrested some weeks ago, some section of the public carried the story as if he is a member of the 4X4 rap trio. GhanaCelebrities.com then quickly hurried to the office of Mr. Duke Banson of Boomerang Night Club, also the manager of the rap trio.

Though, we are aware Shaka Zulu is not a member of 4X4, we thought it will be excellent to hear from the horse’s own mouth. Mr. Banson explained what happened before they came into contact with him and his subsequently appearance in the ‘Fresh One’ video. Shaka Zulu also appear in a TV commercial for Tigo.

Motivational Message Of The Week: Achieving “Ultimate Success” In Life

blank

It is very fulfilling and satisfactory to achieve success in whatever project we undertake in life. The feeling is even more awesome if you have once failed and have then had the guts to rise out of failure to achieve the success you have always wanted.

The ultimate wonderment of success is never seen in the accomplished output but resides deep in our hearts. Achieving success to some of us is to portray to others how thriving we are when it comes to whatever project we are working on but success goes beyond being seen as an accomplisher among your peers or certain group of persons.

Our want for success and greatness always leads us into chasing projects which we envisage as rewarding, thereby neglecting the imperative elements of our livelihood “Love, Belief & Passion”.

Success would have a more meaningful structure if it is not the sole reason why we embark on projects. Achieving success with any work done is satisfying, but it becomes “ultimate” when it naturally comes out of us doing what we love and believe in.

Blog: The Things We Take For Granted As Africans & Ghanaians, I Am Guilty, What About You?

My Seafood In Brighton (Lobster)
My Seafood In Brighton (Lobster)

I have always recognized that Africa and for that matter Ghana is auspiciously blessed with so many things that money and power cannot purchase.

As another Ghanaian out there, despite the fact that I am sentient of the beauty of our naturally endowed landscapes, water bodies and their astonishing features, this has not stopped me from taking these things for granted.

It is quite normal and nothing spectacular to many that live in Ghana to visit the seaside (beach) and enjoy some of the fresh sea food that we fall on whiles at the coast or beach.

The ease at which we get access to the various beaches in Ghana and Africa together with the little we pay out to enjoy the diverse delicious seafood out there have not given us enough reasons to reflect on certain things which would enable us to fully appreciate how blessed we are as Ghanaians to have these things at our door steps.

It would not be that bad if it is just about our failure to appreciate that which nature has blessed us with, most of us are and have taken these naturally provided facilities for granted.

R2Bees’ Kiss Your Hand Music Video Doesn’t Have The ‘Wow’ Factor

blank
Killbeatz, Paedae and Muggees

I have struggled to put my thoughts about the R2bees & Wande Coal “Kiss Your Hand Music Video” video on paper. It has not been easy arriving at these words. What you are about to read is solely my thoughts about the video, like I have always done, I will be saying what I think went wrong.

When I did a story prior to the premiere and launch of the video I said “…. the music is too loud to get everyone’s attention”. Indeed the music is loud, it’s a kind of music everyone would want to dance to. It has a heavy beat and some crazy punch lines which makes it one of the best tunes from Ghana.

Akesifour Comes Back With New Album ‘Magic’

blank
Akesifour

Before they introduced themselves as Ras Biggie (Andy Nii Okai) and Big Joe (Ntim Mensah) and together they form the musical duo Akesifour. I was a bit intimidated because of their looks and structure.

Akesifour as they call themselves is a Twi word which means ‘Big People’ or ‘Big Boys’. According to the duo, their natural sizes aided the choice of the title, this they said at least to suit their looks.

To them one does not need to be rich to be a big boy and being a big boy does not necessarily mean the person must be fat.

Fashion & Lifestyle: Preserve Your Outer Beauty With Care

blank

I have heard so many times that beauty comes from the inside but that does not mean one should not preserve the outer beauty as well.

Do you know whether you have a dry, normal or oily skin type? These are some of the questions worth asking yourself when investing in skin and beauty products. Don’t just think expensive skin products will do all the work for you and give you the exact result you are looking for without knowing your skin type. Although one should be cautious, experimenting with different types of skin products is an ideal way of choosing the right product just for you. This should take place after one has discovered his or her skin type.

Some people find the right beauty product without any problems and others have to go great length before finding the right product. It took me a while to find the right foundation that suits my skin type and colour.
