After spending months preaching and teaching on the web about Success and the simple mechanisms needed to import success into the lives of interested individuals, it took my recent experience to vividly comprehend and realize the entrenched relationship between Success & Failure.
Prior to developing special interest in Personal Development and Human Success teachings, I had always seen “Failure” as a strong antagonist to “Success” and I am certainly aware that majority of people still hold this misconception.
Today, I will take a no hold bard approach to the shoes of 2010. There are hits and misses of the season, what do you guys think? Care for the Vibram Five Toe Shoe! It is ergonomic for running long distance and other sprinting exercises, though the imposing separation of toes will immediately invite insults on the streets of Ghana, it is too unique to be ignored.
No longer do we reserve the crochet booties for the babies of the family, the adults want in on its secret comfort in cold weather. If you insist on wearing these, please do so in the comfort of your home, as you can see the rest of the fashion world has not caught on to it as yet, thank goodness.
It feels great to know that other Ghanaians are beginning to see the light. The mass “thievery” of the work of other movie writers and novelists outside Ghana by our so called “Ghanaian movie writers and storytellers” is becoming too annoying and shameful.
I am glad NewsOne has decided to hit on this. Apart from the stealing of storylines, “common” movie titles are also dubbed. It is even worse when these directors and writers start to think the movie viewing population are some ignorant individuals.

For a very long time, I have tried to understand why our Ghanaian movie directors and producers did not pick books by renowned writers like John Grisham, Jeffery Archer, Sidney Sheldon and make movies out of them.
Well, apparently, I have been wrong all this while, as they seem to be ‘stealing’ stories of these accomplished writers without giving them any credit.
Their excuse that they want to direct and produce movies with an African story does not hold because they do not even pick the works of African writers like Ngugu Wa Thiong’o, Chinua Achebe, Atukwei Okai and several other big names in Africa literature. I am not a big fan of movies made in Ghana or Nigeria at large, having been disappointed on several occasion by some of these local movies. I cursed my stars for wasting my precious time to watch a movie like ‘Sexy Angel’, Hot Fork’ etc and since then, I vowed never to watch any local movie.

This juxtaposition continues to be re-defined throughout the ages for instance through sculpture, tattoos, and carvings. Auxano Designs exemplifies this tradition beautifully in collections of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and hair-clips.

Earlier on Saturday morning, I had visited the tomb of my late dad at the La Cemetery behind the Trade Fair Centre, since it’s a stone throw away from the late Terry ‘Adjetey’ Bonchaka’s tomb, I made a stop over to check on him. I reminisced some years back before his demise and I said to myself Ghana has lost a musical genius.
Little did I know that at the Joy FM Old Skuul Reunion, a performance would be dedicated to him.
