The woman of praise has done it again with her fourth and latest album ‘Agape Love’. This twelve track album has praises and a worship song which will keep gospel music lovers on their feet and knees.
Madam Comfort is not only a blessing to her fans but to her generation. “The Woman of Praise” as she is affectionately called by her fans won this title because of her beautiful “David Dance moves” during praise and worship.
Her music packs a gospel style of songs in “sermonette” singing that involves the spoken word and dramatic acting developed from her life experiences and journeys throughout the world.
For the last two months, Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has been in the news for the wrong reasons. He was reported by a Nigerian website to have raped a housemaid in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria where he shot a movie.
Though he denied the rape allegation, he is in the news again, this time he is lambasted from the same website for taking part in a gay movie in Nigeria. John said he is not gay.
So are you gay? Was a question posed by GhanaCelebrities.com to John Dumelo. After uncontrollable laughter the actor said “Ahhh! I am not gay, homosexuality is evil. The way I like … (Pause)”.
On the 19thday of July 2010 in Nigeria, all hands will be on deck for the maiden edition of Terracotta, a Nigeria Film and Television Awards. This is a new award instituted to award merit and outstanding contributions to the development of the industry.
Four Ghanaian namely Prince David Osie, John Dumelo and Yvonne Otchere have been nominated for various categories. The other Ghanaian nominee is Beverly Afaglo, nominated in for the “Best Actress’ category for her role in ‘About to Wed’.
“I have been nominated for an award called Terracotta Awards, it’s a television awards for all TV programs in Nigeria. I have been nominated in the ‘Best Actress’ category for a role in ‘About to Wed. About to Wed’ is a television series which was shown in Ghana and in Nigeria” She said.
It is so refreshing and amazing to see our Ghanaian Celebrities living “large and good” out of their hard work. I perfectly know cars do not symbolize of good and large living but they make life comfortable and to some extent signify wealth. i Few years back when Nadia Buar was Michael Essien, she was riding in an X5 rumoured to have been bought for her by Essien. Many saw her as a parasite living on the riches of Essien.
Girlfriend has disproved this unfounded notion. Essien is off her life and she has released a new ultra modern luxurious SUV Lexus RX 350 said to have bought at a price of $100,000 (Independent woman right?). I am not sure with the price as it seems too much (hyped) for me but no matter what the price is, home girl has done well. She has also customized her registration plate as seen in the photo below. The registration number ’NSB-210’ is believed to stand for Nadia Sidiku Buari.
Nadia is not the only female Ghanaian Celebrity riding on fast and good wheels. Menaye Donkor, former Miss Universe Ghana rep, Model and girlfriend of Ghanaian footballer Sulley Muntari is also riding in some masive Range. I have added the photo of Menaye’s Range below. Also, Jackie Appiah has a similar luxurious Range Rover to her name. Hard work pays right? Geez! when will I have one to my name? lol. Well done girls…… Check Photos Below & Click To Enlarge Photos For Proper View…

It might take almost forever to convince ace Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel to come to Nigeria again to act like his peers Van Vicker, John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah, and Nadia Buari are doing.
Earlier, it was reported that Majid said he won’t come to Nigeria, because Nollywwod producers are not professional, but SBN can authoritatively tell you that the story is not true. Majid actually ran for dear life.
Anansekrom (The Premier African Cultural Extravaganza), organised by The Noble Friends is the largest family oriented event focused on the Ghanaian and African Culture in the UK. It is open to all races and ages and is a successful attempt at opening out a Midas to true African Culture. It also provides social cohesion among Africans in the Diaspora.
It starts at 11am and finishes at 8pm, consisting of a traditional durbar, encompassing tribal groups from the entire country.
The beauty of Africa is not just entrenched in its landscapes, wild life, greener forest and sarcastically its corrupt leaders, its women are extremely glamorous and true embodiment of natural beauty.
I have never taken time out of my busy schedule to give a “tell-tale” glance to the beauty Africa is endowed with in terms of the diverse but beautiful women who are twisted, shaped and curved in different ways.
Last night presented to me 8 glamorous women from various parts of Africa. It was like a beauty pageant where all the fabulous and naturally beautified and perfectly created black women were lined up.
My experience last night got my mind settling deep on the words; indeed African women are beautiful and worth being celebrated. Without contempt and not sounding racist, I can boldly say beauty comes in black and lives in Africa.
At yesterday’s Premiere of “The Game”, Yvonne Nelson dropped her new image complete with her lace weave. Let’s call a spade a spade, home girl looks good but she tried damn too hard. For once, I wondered if she is Chinese, Korean or Ghanaian.
The lace weave with less make up could have fetched her the glamour she was seeking but overhauling her face with so much make up as if she was some clown was just hilarious. Can you even tell that is Yvonne Nelson in the photo? Geez! What the heck is wrong with this girl, fake fake fake everywhere!
It appears that a feud that may have started with Jon Germain listing Kwaw Kesse as his least favourite Ghanaian rapper in an interview with Sparxx Magazine may have degenerated into a real industry beef between the two. In a reply to Jon Germain, Kwaw Kesse referred to Jon as “Jon Gyimii” (Jon foolishness in … Read more

Guys, there is a vacancy out there and the warming aspect of this is that, she is advertising so try your luck. Sometimes I wonder why on earth wouldn’t she be single when she is full of arrogance, ignorance, hype and attitude.
A colleague jokingly said; Yvonne Nelson and Sulley Muntari would get on well. I bet Muntari would knock her out with his attitude and then she would know how it feels to be proper mean and arrogant. I am not cunningly saying Muntari is any of the above but just passing on what someone suggested.
Anyway, Menaye Donkor will not lose Sulley Muntari to Yvonne Nelson. Hell No, home girl’s got some game….
Interested in Yvonne Nelson’s single life story as she told News One? Read more below….
Sulley Muntari is in the news again and as usual, it is about his attitude and manners. After Black Stars were kicked out from the FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa by Uruguay, Muntari left the team and rushed to Ghana for what is only known to him.
The Ghana Football Association is not pleased with this conduct of his as they preferred that the entire team should have come home together. Sulley, the only “prodigal” son in the team ditched the whole team and hurried to Kotoka.
Personally, I do find anything wrong with Muntari rushing home to have some breast milk. After all, it is Ghana he came to and not Nigeria or Ivory Coast.
Anyway, read what GFA is saying and let’s know what you think. GFA is considering a disciplinary action should Muntari fail to justify his early home coming, do you think there was anything wrong with Sully Muntari’s conduct?
It appears that the new craze in the pre-screening of Ghanaian movies is to not show the full length of movies to the critics/the press. First it was the movie, ‘Trinity’ and more recently, it was repeated at the screening of ‘The Game’. Just as I said when reviewing ‘Trinity’, I wish that a point would come when movie critics and the press would be invited to watch a movie and make suggestions that would be effected before a movie is released. However after watching producer/director, Frank Raja Arase’s interaction with the press, I am convinced that might not happen in this lifetime.
Frank Raja, who clearly believed that he is ‘the omnipotent movie director’ and that his movie, ‘The Game’ is the best thing that ever happened to the movie industry, put up an unnecessarily arrogant attitude (not for the first time) against pressmen who asked questions about his movie during the screening at the Silverbird Cinemas.
A reporter who did not understand certain elements of the movie, asked the director to explain the story behind the movie. Frank rubbished the reporter’s question and said that if he had to explain the movie to the reporter, that would mean he didn’t do a good job as a director. Hint! Hint! If after watching the movie for almost 2 hours, more than one reporter wanted to find out the story behind the movie, then quite clearly he had failed to some extent as a director. He shouldn’t get it twisted; he is no Quentin Tarantino. The only reason why they wanted him to explain the story was because the movie gets confusing due to unnecessary use of visual and sound effects, several pointless scenes, and an innovative but reckless approach to story narration.
