Shocking: Jealousy Splits Wutah

blank
Wutah

Every good thing has an end and all too soon the reign of Wutah has come to an end as greediness have divided the duo. Awards are given to people who are worthy to be awarded and not people who think they need to be rewarded.

It seems Ghanaians have heard the very last from the group Wutah as their ‘Burning Desire’ to live the ‘Big Dream’ has been cut short. Very often, disagreement, money or women are blamed when a group splits but this time around, jealousy is believed to be the cause of their breakup.

I have always believed in one of Williams Shakespeare’s quotes ‘there is no art to find the minds construction on the face’. This wise quote means a lot. You meet people, they smile with you but you can’t tell what they are actually thinking. You can’t really say what a person is thinking just by looking at their face.

blank
Iwan

Anytime I listen to Asem’s track ‘Run Away’ featuring Irene Logan, I feel it’s tight. Listening to the rendition by Iwan, methinks it’s exceptional. Iwan is currently using the power of remix to write his name in the minds of music lovers especially those who love Ragga and Dance Hall.

Iwan is signed on to the Bullhaus Entertainment, featured in a number of remixes. His presence has already been felt happily ever after on shows like Miss Ghana 2008, Joy FM’s Nite with the Stars, Exopa Fashion Nite, Kwaw Kese Beach Bash, Sound Splash, Ghana Loves Haiti Concert, Face of Tertiary and a lot whole lot more.

At the Banquet Hall, State House last Saturday to launch the new G-Series mobile phones by rLG Communications, manufacturers of rLG phones, Iwan was the last person to perform on the night to end the memory event. He treated the audience to the best of his remixes.

What Could Be “Behind” Michael Essien’s Long Injury, Pouring Out The Minds Of Some People.

blank

I have wanted to gist up on this so we can all share our minds, but have been busy with my  end of semester examination. Now that university is on 3 months break, be expecting more “gisting” and celebrity bashing from me.

Somewhere last month, I visited a popular Ghanaian Kenkey Joint in London and as I was waiting for my 2 pairs of kenkey, I over heard 4 Ghanaian guys “gisting” about the possible “spirits” behind Michael Essien’s injury. This is not just a mere injury, it is a career ending injury, the tall black guy sitting far left in his loud voice said.

The argument between these folks was full of speculations and unfounded beliefs; however some of their sayings had some element of pragmatism in them. One of the guys strongly argued on the lines of Karma.  In the nut shell, his arguments were that, whatever one does in this world, Karma throws it back at him. He said, Do you think after sadly ditching that pretty actress for no apparent reason, he will have the strength and legs to play football again? I guess he was refering to  Nadia Buari’s ditch by Essien.

Then, the issue of Akosua Puni was chipped him, the other guy also said, not only is Essien facing the Karma of life in relation to that actress, how on earth will he be messing with Akosua Puni when he is aware of all the alleged misfortunes that follow any of the guys who have dated her. Gosh, that is too harsh!.

blank
Frank Raja

It was in the news recently that Frank Raja Arase who has been directing most of the movies produced by Venus Films was on the run. According to Nigeriafilms.com, the ‘Heart of Men’ director extended his directing skills to a poor housemaid (Chinemelu) by ‘forcibly messing up’ with her at a location during a film shoot in Asaba, Nigeria. Nigeriafilms.com made it clear that the famous director whisked the under-aged  housemaid to his hotel room, lo and behold, he was busy right on top of her, violating her youthful innocence.

The false report shows that Raja is wanted by the Nigerian police over his alleged rape, molestation and sexual assault.  Peacefmonline.com contacted Raja on his part of the story and you can check it out below.

He denied the allegation, saying it was the work of his competitors, in Nigeria to dent his image. “This is Frank Raja Arase; do I look like am a wanted man? If you want me, you can find me anywhere. Come to Ghana now and ask for Venus Film and you will find me. So if I am wanted I am here, they should come and pick me up,” he stressed.
