Google Will Soon Be Offering Free Taxis To Restaurants, Casinos And Other Places As Long As You Promise To Spend Money When You Arrive

Google Car
Google Car

Technology Giant-Google is set to give out free taxi rides to people going to cinemas, restaurants and other public places, says a patent that was filed by the company few years ago…

In its bid to keep up with the lead, Google will be paying for people’s journey through its advertisers to encourage more people to use their businesses.

The system would run on Google’s existing AdWords software, and in the future, these journeys could even be carried out by Google’s self-driving cars.

Google says the local businesses would compete for the adverts in the same way firms currently compete for Google adverts on webpages.

Samsung Unveils World First Largest Curve TV

Samsung Curve TV

Samsung, the global tech giant has for the first time unveiled the world’s first largest curved HD TV, and if you want to know the size—it is 105 inch…

Apart from the size and curve of the TV which may put some people off, it doesn’t come cheap. You have to pay $69,999 to get one if you are interested in having it at your home or office.

According to Marshable;

Samsung unveiled its 105-inch curved UltraHD TV Monday, and it’s a stunner. Samsung is claiming this is “the world’s first and largest curved HD TV,” but LG might take some issue with that.

Samsung hasn’t released a price for the UHD (4K) stunner, but considering that it’s charging an astounding $69,999 for its 105-inch 4K set, we expect this one to be pricy, too.

I got some eyes-on time with the 105-inch set, as well as Samsung’s whole line of curved 4K TVs at a private media event Sunday night. I was already smitten by the company’s curved OLED TVs, which I saw in August, and adding 4K to the experience makes it even better.

The Wonders of Technology…Soon We Will Have A Real ‘Pomegranate’ Phone

Technology

Who would have thought that a single device, small enough to fit into your hands can function as a means of communication (calls, texts, emails, chats, etc), a video projector (for those important business presentations), a translator (there’s no need to spend years in school studying so many languages anymore), a coffee maker (Yes, I said it!), a shaving device and a musical instrument? Shocked?! Look no further than at the “Pomegranate phone”.

I was dumfounded when I stumbled on information on the tiny device that can perform these huge functions that takes several other not-so-dainty devices to carry out efficiently. I figured out that the name ‘Pomegranate’ (which I think lacks originality and can be quite the tongue twister) is meant to contradict Apple products and its is packed with all these functions because it is meant to introduce us to another level of technology that we are yet to dream about. Well, my phone making me coffee is definitely another level! It’s hard enough with the coffee maker or (for the old fashioned) the kettle and stove.

Many believe that this device is nothing but a mobile phone hoax as some of its features are very unrealistic and that it is just an advertising campaign from Communications Nova Scotia’s ‘Come to Life’ initiative, the place branding program of the Government of Nova Scotia. I can’t help but think however that perhaps there could be some little bit of truth to it. It may have started out as a prank but could it be that some time, probably seventy, eighty years from now we would have devices like these in the system?

DO YOU KNOW THAT: Plants DIE When Placed Next To Wireless Routers? What Are Routers Doing To Our Bodies Then?

Wifi

This is SCARY but I am sure you are even reading this article via a WiFi, an indication that we cannot get rid of this technology.

Though there is no clear scientific consensus about  how WiFi affects our bodies, it has emerged that when plants are placed near Wifi Routers, they DIE quickly…

You can imagine what WiFi is doing to some of us them—I had mine just next to my desk which I have moved away after I came across this finding…

According to a new experiment,  the invisible WiFi signals – generated from mobile phones and laptops – could be causing serious damage to plants.

The latest experiment, which has been gaining the attention of researchers worldwide came from an unlikely source: a group of 15 year old students in Denmark.

Five young girls from Hjallerup School in Denmark started looking into the effects of WiFi when they realized that, anytime they sleep with their mobile phones near their heads, they had trouble concentrating the next day.

Let me add that, when I sleep with my mobile phone under my pillow, I get headache…

According to Danish News site DR , as these young girls weren’t able to monitor their brain activity, they instead chose to monitor the growth of plants near Wi-Fi routers.

Six trays containing the seeds of a garden cress herb were placed in a room without a Wi-Fi router, and six trays in another room next to two Wi-Fi routers.
