Motivational Message Of The Week: Laying A Firm Foundation To Achieve Success

blank

“A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him”.  David Brinkley

……………………………………………………………………………………………………..

The diversity of mankind in our thoughts, attitude and way of life is what define us as unique individuals. However, no matter how distant our ideas and mindset about life seem to be from each other, there is always that common target point of “achieving success” in whatever direction we tread on in life.

We may seem to be walking in different paths of ambition and putting up unequal structures aimed at guiding us on these paths, yet, we are all heading towards a common goal of attaining “Success”.

The very fact that everyone one of us is working so hard towards a common focal point in life depicts the important and highly combustible nature of the point we are gravitating towards. Yes, the closer you get to success, the more difficult, stormy and fiery the path becomes.

The ability of a person to keep motivated, focus and hold up his path towards success is enshrined in his attitude, structures and the foundations laid to combat the turbulent path of success.

The foundation on which your success path rest therefore becomes the most crucial ingredient of fetching success, in fact, a determinant of whether you can resist the chaotic trail of attaining success or not.

Everyone would fairly expect that the important nature of the foundation we lay on our success path means we should have control and be presented with the opportunity to pick up the bricks we use for this very foundation so we can grab the strongest bricks and build up a sturdy foundation against “on-way” obstacles.

What Is Wrong With Michael Essien At All? What Happened To “I Pledge Myself To The Service Of Ghana”

Michael Essien Covers Chelsea's Mag
Michael Essien Covers Chelsea's Mag

If the Reports below from Kickoff.Com are fully true, then my respect for Michael Essien and his career achievements is going to be thrown into the window.

After failing to sufficiently take care of his “old aged” father due to the fact that his Dad did not perform his fatherly duties when he was a child, the Chelsea football star is reported to be denying Ghana his services as a talented footballer.

I guess jilting is a disease affecting Essien’s personality. He jilted one of the most beautiful Actresses in Ghana-Nadia Buari after calling it a quit with Dela Ackumey, another beautiful Ghanaian young girl.

Reader’s Mail: Why Was It Too Hard For Nadia Buari To Do What Dede Ayew Did? Fans Should Be Respected & Not Ignored…

Nadia Buari & Dede Ayew
Nadia Buari & Dede Ayew

After weeks of unsettled Rumour having it that Nadia Buari was “cornering” Dede Ayew in her romantic net, Dede Ayew finally spoke to nullify the Rumour.  Nadia Buari did not speak on this and I am personally not amazed on her silence since I am beginning to catch up on her Showbiz mindset. (I don’t know if I am allowed to call her a media coward without being blasted by her fans who are failing to see the light)

Though her silence did not tick even an itch of me, mainly because I am not a huge fan of Nadia, one of our loyal readers, a “die hard” fan of Nadia Buari she calls herself sent in the below mail to pour out her heartfelt sentiments…Nadia and her management would definitely read you (Doreen) but whether they would respect your “fanship” and letter is another issue…

Screening Online: A Sting In A Tale – A Shirley Frimpong Manso Film, Watch It Now For Free

A Sting In A Tale
A Sting In A Tale

Hello Ghana Movie lovers,

This week, we are not bringing you an album release. Instead, we are going to make history by screening to you, full-length and in HD an award winning Ghanaian movie: A Sting In A Tale from Sparrow Productions. If you want some background on who Sparrow Productions are, check out their bio on the movie website here .

So let’s start you off with the trailer for this movie:

What do you think? The basic premise of the movie is pretty straightforward, you have two recent graduates – Nii Aryee and Kuuku who are struggling to make ends meet. Nii (played by Majid Michael) is the more calm and collected of the two. Kuuku (Adjetey Anang) is the more fiery one and has a bit of a temper.

Without completely revealing the plot, I’ll quickly go over some aspects of this film that I think are worth noting. The narrative style Shirley used for the movie is seldom seen in Ghanaian movies. The whole movie is actually a story being told by Kuuku. It is narrated so well that you forget that that is what is actually happening, even though you knew this at the beginning of the movie.

Van Magazine Cover

Many are against the fact that Van Vicker seems to have totally jilted his true home-Ghana and have adopted some intense patriotism towards Nigeria (his new home).

I guess it is all about where one finds success and where one is appreciated and celebrated instead of tolerated. With all the numerous Nigerian Actors around, Van is still making waves in Nigeria, both on the screens and in the print media.
