The young man who was featured in the Vodafone 3030 commercial as Kwame released his single ‘Me Do Wo’ featuring Guru sometime back and the responses has been good. Below is the music video for the track. Hope you enjoy it…
Lanky actress Yvonne Nelson denied and jilted Metro TV’s Allo Tigo presenter Jon Germain in public. According to the actress, his relationship with Jon was purely platonic. In a layman’s language, she means there are just friends.
The actress told NEWSONE something back that “I have a boyfriend and it will not be fair to go behind him. Jon is just a friend. You can call him and ask him. There is nothing going on between us. I even hear he is getting married.”
But Jon said “I haven’t spoken to her in a week and I don’t feel like calling her and I know she does not also feel like calling me either. I am sure it is over”. And what was the end of their amorous relationship.
Interestingly, the actress has since denied any man she has been found with. From celebs actors John Dumelo, Jym Ike to Black Stars midfielder Derrick Boateng.
I am impressed with the steps being taken by Michael Essien and the support rendered him by Muntari and the others. Michael Essien stormed his home town “Awutu” to embark on some charitable work. What baffles my mind comes in a simple question. What happened to Charity begins at home?
Awutu is Essien’s home town but I believe there is a closer home which is his “family” than Awutu.
As much as I am pleased with what he has done, It would be prudent and more glorying for him to sort out the state of his own father before extending his charitable work to the wider community. What do you think?
Read below for more….(If you want to know about the state of Essien’s father, Click Here)

Chelsea star Michael Essien received a hero’s welcome when he made a visit to his home town, Awutu on Tuesday. The midfielder was accompanied by officials from Chelsea football team and the charity organizations Purepersona, the Michael Essien Foundation, Chelsea Foundations and Right to Play.
In Awutu, about one hour’s drive from Accra, Essien spoke to local dignitaries, and then went on to unveil two initiatives to promote health and reduce disease in the town. The midfielder also took part in a promotion called “Reading Goals” to encourage children to get into the habit of reading books.
Reading Goals is a series of books created with help from the publishing company Pearson Education and the Ghanaian Ministry of Education to inspire children in the country to read. They are based on Essien’s own experiences and he handed copies to youngsters in front of a mass of people before the football final took place.

Supermodel is a term that came about in 1981 when an interview, with then popular, Janice Dickenson responded saying that her achievements in ruling the runway and magazine covers is that of a superhero, hence “supermodel”.
I have taken time to bring you some old but favourites with West African roots, namely Djimon Housou and Boris Kodjoe. These two heavyweights from Benin and Ghana respectively were also discovered in Europe.
If you Google the name Herb Ritts, you will find the tantalizing portraits of Djimon Housou which brings me to another important designation that parts the sea of Supermodel and Model: Legendary photography!
Birthdays are celebrated with friends, family and loved ones. Some also celebrate this special day all by themselves but actress Khareema Aguiar celebrated her 25th birthday with various senior citizens being taken care by HelpAge Ghana.
HelpAge Ghana is a non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit making organization established in 1988 to promote the prospects of older persons in the Ghanaian society.
In most African settings, when one is old, they are relegated to the background. Some are tagged as witches or wizards and are blamed for every misfortune in their household. When a young woman out there cannot have a baby, the innocent looking old woman is her problem. And the accusations continue unabated.
This is not my list. I culled it from writer elisawoof. Very accurate if you ask me.
1. Juliet Ibrahim: I would rather put out my eyes with a fork than watch Juliet Ibrahim in anything. She can’t act her way out of the paper bag, plus she has zero personality. She just plays herself in every movie. Never understood all the hype about her, she isn’t that good, her body is not proportionate. God, she is so awful.
According to top Ghanaian female hiplife act, Mzbel, she left her job at Metro TV due to the ‘bossy’ nature of broadcaster, Jon Germain. Speaking to Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) on Thank God It’s Friday (TGIF) on that same TV channel, Mzbel said “I left Metro TV because Jon Germain was giving me a hard time”.
She explained that she was brought on as a producer for the entertainment TV magazine, ‘Smash TV’ (now Allo Tigo), a show that was being produced by Jon Germain. Judging by her posturing in TGIF, there was a clear clash in their characters making it difficult for Mzbel to cope. She said that in the end, she decided to leave Metro TV as a case of ‘who is boss’ couldn’t be avoided. “It was a case of boss over boss”, she explained.
Apart from one particular person I know in life that does not see any necessity in being successful; I believe every individual will want to be successful. This particular person I know is “Mr Sucker”.
It may sound funny to know that “Mr Sucker” is not an ordinary “Joe” on the street but an indoctrinated and educated “chap” who over the years have been made to believe in an entrenched manner that “working for others is cool and it is the best in this world”. If you have this mindset, then I am sorry to say you are that “Mr Sucker”.
I used to be “Mr Sucker” until I stumbled on an article written by “Steve Pavlina” captioned “10 Reasons Why You Do Not Need A JoB”. The heading of the article was enough to catch my attention and I am proud to say after I read it, I decided to get out of the “Mr Sucker” skin and become the successful man I have always wanted to be. That was the point of dramatic change in my life.
Success is a dicey concept, therefore difficult to attain if you do not understand in full the road map as well as the tips needed to grab it. If a treasure is positioned at the South Pole and in your attempt to discover this treasure, you head towards the North Pole, what is the probability that you will find this treasure?
Ghana’s man or actor of the moment John Dumelo stars in this new movie ‘A Private Storm’ alongside his Nigerian counterparts Ramsey Nouah Jnr. and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde. The movie is from the stables of Marhills Films Production, the same producers of the magnificent movie ‘Silence Scandal’.
‘A Private Storm’ tells a story of a child, who suffered incessant abuse from his step father. He decided to abandon both parents and left home to fend for himself. He grew up feeling rejected and filled with his childhood pains which fetched him a psychological imbalance and jealousy that transcended into his relationship with his girl friend. His girlfriend suffered violence and maltreatment in his hands out of gross jealous.
