New Music: Asem Is Out With “2010 Fylla”….

Asem
Asem

I was about to cross Asem’s name in my book and push him to join the “Missing in Action” Hip life rappers like T-Blaze. I cannot even remember the last time Asem dropped a hit tune.

All the same his lack of creativity has pushed him to sample 2010 in a rush in his new tune called “2010 Fylla”. Geez, 2010 has not ended yet so how can you summarize it?

Anyway, the song with its comic lyrics highlights on some of the controversial stories that have passed through Ghana Showbiz this year. How on earth can Asem miss  Samini’s  scandal? Check out the tune below….

Meiway, Eazzy, Nii, Others To Rock Miss Ghana Finals On Saturday

blank
Miss Ghana Finals Poster

There is something almost skillful and weird about Ivorian music superstar Freddy Meiway that has earned him the accolade of one of Africa’s best stage performances over the years.

Fact is: no one does it better than the Zoblazo man. It is even fun and more exciting when he is backed on stage by those raunchy and sexy-looking dancers.

Come this Saturday, in a well regimented dance and music routine preserved for patrons of this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant competition, the Accra International Conference Centre, Pink Lady, will host the man whose credentials from his very first LP continues to be the talk on most lips. To say Meiway is good at what he does, would be stating the fact but to suggest that he is a pure genius would be the most obvious statement. Simply put Meiway rocks! And when he is put on the same stage as Sarkodie, arguably the most talked-about act in the past one year in Ghana, then a master piece of a delivery is what should be expected.

Segun in his interview sounds so uncertain and was not going straight to the point. I sense something fishy….

………………………………………………….

Harare – Zimbabwe’s representative in Africa’s Big Brother reality TV show landed in second place, but took home a prize bigger than the official jackpot, a gift from President Robert Mugabe’s family.

Munyaradzi Chidzonga lost out to Nigeria’s Uti Nwachukwu, who won the official $200 000 prize from the show that locks contestants from around the continent in a house. But the 24-year-old received a $300 000 cheque from President Robert Mugabe, state media said.

The money was collected through a campaign spearheaded by Harare businessman Phillip Chiyangwa, a relative and close ally of the veteran ruler, who reportedly thought the voting on the show was unfair. It’s not clear if 86-year-old Mugabe himself actually watched the show. “I didn’t think you would survive because you looked so young, perhaps the youngest of them all,” Mugabe told Munyaradzi as he handed over the cheque.
