Grand Opening Of ‘Adams Apples’ Chapter 4 Is Tomorrow, Interesting But More Wahala!…You Can’t Miss Out On This!

Adams Apples Chapter 4
Adams Apples Chapter 4

Chapter 4 of Shirley Frimpong Manso’s ten chapter cinema movie series ‘Adams Apples’ will receive a Grand opening at the SilverBird Cinema tomorrow-Friday, 16th September, 2011 (8pm/9:45pm).

In Chapter 4, the story becomes very interesting with unbelievable scandals and more ‘wahala’ as ‘five different people dash marathon-style towards an emergency room, one after the other, to open up a new chapter in the busy lives of the Adams.

Jennifer plays the good friend as she accompanies Linda to a doctor’s appointment. She is rewarded with the charming Dr. Nate. Who knows? This gentleman just might be Mr. Right, instead of that school boy whom she believes “seems to have evaporated into thin air.” The vengeful Ivy however teaches Jennifer she might have spoken too soon, when she ambushes her with an unbelievable scandalous story!

An unplanned rendezvous the night before destroys Kukua’s chances with Denu, just as they are about to take the step that could wipe away the past and bring them together for good.

It’s hardly any easier for Mrs. Adams, who struggles with her conscience, at war with all common sense and advice on keeping her long-buried secret hidden. The only one for whom things seem to turn out okay is Baaba, who is working things out with her eager husband. But wait, there’s a new arrival in town- and skeletons might just start falling out of the closet.’

If you are in Accra and its vicinity and have already seen Adams Apples’ Chapter 1,2 and 3, you cannot miss out on tomorrow’s Grand opening of  Chapter 4. You surely can’t let the extra ‘Wahala and excitement’ pass you.

Remember, you do not have to see Chapter 1, 2 and 3 to be able to follow, understand, appreciate and fully enjoy Chapter 4 of Adams Apples.

Someone From The ‘Censorship Board’ Has Been Leaking Shirley Frimpong Manso’s Movies Before They Come Out…

Director-Shirley Frimpong Manso
Director-Shirley Frimpong Manso

The cost of producing quality and world class movies like the ones we have been enjoying from the camp of Ms. Shirley Frimpong Manso and her Sparrow Production is very high, and somehow disproportionate to even the returns.

Any well informed African movie lover can attest to the huge disparity between Shirley Frimpong Manso’s movies and the bunch of crap we have on our markets.

The difference in quality may be due to talent, experience and passion. However, the amount of money Sparrow Production pumps into its movies also plays a substantial part in influencing the quality of their movies.

It is greatly unfair that, no matter the quality and the amount of money spent in producing a Ghanaian movie, the default market price has always been 5GHC.

This therefore means quality movie production houses like Sparrow Production’s only hope and avenue of having a break-even is to be able to attract as many people (tertiary students and young workers) as possible to their premieres and cinema openings. By now, you should be aware that VCD sales yield nothing since piracy rules that corner.

Premieres and Cinema showings are the ONLY viable avenues sustaining these quality productions. It is poignant to hear that, some mucky elements within the ‘Ghana Film Censorship Board’ is hell bent on rendering this avenue useless by continuously leaking movies submitted to the ‘Board’ for approval.

Leila Lopes From Angola-Miss Universe 2011
Leila Lopes From Angola-Miss Universe 2011

After 3 weeks of intensive competition between 89 countries, Leila Lopes (Miss Angola) has been crowned Miss Universe 2011… The event which was held in Brazil, Sao Paul listed Olesya Stefanko from Ukraine as 1st runner up, Priscilla Machado from Brazil as 2nd runner up and Luo Zilin (China) as 3rd runner up.

As usual, Ghana was a NO SHOW… This brings me to the sickening nature the organizers of Miss Universe Ghana-Insignia Group handled the selection of Ghana’s rep.

As you may know, a certain Miss Erica Yahyra Nego who contested and won Miss Minnesota to enable her go to Miss USA and then proceed to Miss Universe on behalf of USA but failed was PICKED to represent Ghana at the just ended Miss Universe competition.

The wanna-be queens have just gone through their first task that is to warm them up for the tougher ones ahead.  The task was dubbed ‘media interaction and profiling’. In this task ace broadcaster, Kwame Sefa Kayi had a close-up interaction with the ladies in groups of four. The series was recorded at the Aphrodisiac Night Club in an ambiance of relaxation.

The task got the ladies to think on their feet while Mr. Sefa Kayi propelled them to come out with honest responses to the questions put before them. It was a one-on one interaction with each of them that disclosed interesting stories about them and their families.

Treat Us Like Celebrities…What About Behave Like Celebrities?

blank

One of the many reasons why I founded GhanaCelebrities.Com is to help celebrate those in the limelight alongside using the platform to showcase their talents… Do not get it twisted, it does not rain everyday, when these stars meant to be celebrated find themselves in the wrong pit, we give it to them on here accordingly…

I cannot count the number of times people have asked me, why do you sometime result to bashing these Ghanaian celebrities if indeed the intention and purpose of your site is to mainly celebrate them? The answer I have always given is simple, GhanaCelebrities.Com was created to be used both as a shield and a sword…(Defend and celebrate the good works of our stars and also bash and bring to light the dirty works of these same stars).

The reason behind this post is to react to an interview Ghanaian celebrities-Roselyn Ngissah and Beverly Afaglo granted newsone recently…The two stars mentioned that Ghanaians back home do not know how to treat celebrities and DEMANDED to be treated as celebrities…

Roslyn Ngissah told Newsone that,  “You know someone sees you and goes like…if the person wants to say hi, then the person goes like oh it is her, it is not her.

But when we meet people who have travelled abroad and come back, when they meet us they are like ‘oh I want an autograph’ because they understand how to celebrate stars over there. It is not yet here but we are gradually getting there.

WTF: Kwabena Kwabena Charges Fans £1 Per Picture At Ghana Vs Brazil Football Match

Kwabena Kwabena
Kwabena Kwabena

Most celebrities will happily pose with their fans or allow them to take pictures but I was shocked to find out that Kwabena Kwabena wanted £1 before he will take a picture with a fan.

After the Ghana vs Brazil game I was informed that Kwabena Kwabena was outside the stadium, as a seasonal writer for GhanaCelebrities.Com, I rushed by to try and have a chat and also get some pictures with the talented singer for publication.

To my horror two Macho men who were with Kwabena Kwabena demanded that I pay £1 before I can take a picture with him. I tried to take a picture of just him but one of the Macho men blocked the lens of the camera and repeatedly told me £1 per picture.
