About Brutally Uncensored;

I hate any form of censorship but at most places and on most platforms, you cannot escape the long arms of censorship—even if what you have to say is the TRUTH and LEGALLY right…

Here at BrutallyUncensored.Com, I am leaving the doors wide opened to all discussions and ideas, unrestrained by anything, except by your own conscience and understanding.

The truth should never offend you’ will stay as the slogan and I hope the discourse would mirror this assertion.

To me, you do not truly hold any belief or philosophy if you’ve never had to defend your belief and philosophy, under strong attacks.

Let’s deny ignorance through discussion as we take off the black tape of censorship on all things interesting…

Would You Guys Support? | Let’s Help Make an IMPACT & Bring the CHANGE We Want

Help
Help

With the millions of readers who visit GhanaCelebrities.Com ( those with Ghana at heart)  in mind, I’ve decided we add something touching to our focus as an online community and strengthen the GC family—through reaching out to help those in desperate need.

Recently, we published an article with a photo which made us aware of the appalling conditions of a particular school in Ghana– Amenam Local Authority Primary and Junior High School, where children sat on pile of blocks to study. In this particular school, “the six-block classroom is built of clay. Part of the roof has been ripped off- the effects of severe weather. Inside the classrooms, there are just about a few broken desks.”

The government is aware of this and has done nothing about it—and waiting on the Ghanaian government to get certain things done means, we will never have the change we want to see. Also, when you look at the bigger picture, we are all part of the government so why don’t we help when we can?

So after a particular conversation, I’ve decided that starting with this particular school, we should be able to occasionally raise some little money via donation and help to make an impact—by bringing change to some of the poorest people in Ghana.

For transparent reasons, I will be avoiding any of the various Foundations and Charities. And we will set up an open donation account on one of the many web fund raising sites which allows everyone to donate and also see how much has been raised/donated—live update of donations.

Once we’ve reached an amount, we will get the things (in this case, the chairs and tables) the school needs and together with a GC reporter/photographer, a presentation will be done.

8th May, 2014 03:24am

Hello Guys,

I am ending my Cannes Sponsorship Appeal in few days. I just want to say a BIG Thank You to all who donated to sponsor my trip. If you want to still be a sponsor, you can click on the link below and donate.

I have interesting activities and meetings lined up with certain interesting people who are bringing their Ghanaian themed films to the 67 Cannes Film Festival. I will surely keep all of you updated on my activities out there and bring you first hand exclusives from the prestigious film festival.

16 March, 2014-10:20am

Hey Guys,

Thanks to all those who have DONATED to support my 2014 Cannes Film Festival Long Stay appeal. I really appreciate the support.

If you have not donated yet and would want to do so, just read my appeal post below and chip in your little. Remember every little helps!

You can donate by using a Visa card/Master card/ America Express or PayPal. Alternatively you can drop me an email and let me know how much you want to donate and I will let someone pick the donation up for me—if in Ghana and do not have access to any of the above.

And for the good friends, donation is compulsory for you all so if you don’t I will call your names out. LOL

Yesterday, the Press Office of the 67th Cannes Film Festival granted me a journalist accreditation—per application, so I am definitely going to be there!

update

Last year, I attended the 66th Cannes Film Festival as the Editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com—-partly sponsored by Ghana Movie Awards and GhanaCelebrities.Com.

Apart from the great experience and the fact that I made it onto the all-important Cannes red carpet alongside Captain Planet, Fred Nuamah, Hollywood actress-Zoe Saldana, Takao Osawa, Nanako Matsushima, Tatsuya Fujiwara, Rasaroi Dawson, Clive Owen, Marion Cotillard and other celebrities for the red carpet premiere of the movies- Blood Ties and Shield of Straw—I was able to write several first hand reports on activities at Cannes for the millions of GhanaCelebrities.Com  and affiliated websites readers.

Click Here for the various publications I filed from the Cannes Film Festival last year

The prestigious Cannes Film Festival will return this year-15th May to 25th May and I will be attending for the purpose of obtaining first-hand information on activities out there—and be able to report on the activities of the various African celebrities who will also be attending.

I am aware several African celebrities are looking to attend the Film Festival this year but as history has shown, media focus on their activities out there has always been non-existing. We must tell our stories and give our stars the needed shine—or else, no one really cares.

The sponsorship package from Ghana Movie Awards and GhanaCelebrities.Com was enough for a 3 day stay at Cannes last year, which meant that I missed out the important opening ceremony and the closing ceremony.

I would love to report on these two events and if possible, report on activities at the event for all the 10 days it will run—-since it will be a wonderful experience, activities packed and worthy.

To be able to have such a long stay at Cannes and file the needed reports during the festival season  is going to cost a lot—and that is why I have decided to launch this page for general sponsorship from everyone who wishes to make the above possible.

In fact, out of love for my Cannes’ publications last year, a friend suggested I consider this to see if I can raise enough funds to ensure a long stay this year so I can bring in more and more publications.
