The actor, a noted NPP supporter, said the newly implemented policy would give the opportunity for up and coming young people to get the educational opportunities that was not available some years back to people like himself.

92% Of 2017 BECE Candidates Receive Placement Into Free SHS Program – GES
The Ghana Education Service have announced the placement of students who wrote this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) into numerous Senior High Schools across the country.
A statement released by the Service and dated 31st August, 2017, reveals that 92% of students who took the exams qualified to be placed into SHS across the country.

The reigning champions of the National Science & Maths Quiz, Adisadel College, put up a brilliant performance on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, to keep alive their hope of retaining the trophy they won in 2016.
They competed against Suhum Senior High Technical School and Nkroful Agric Senior High School in the ninth one-eighth stage contest.
In what was largely a one-sided contest, the Santaclausians represented by contestants, Edward De-Graft Vanderpuije Quansah and Sylvester Afful Assan-Annobil left nothing to chance as they dominated the five (5) rounds of competition with an impressive win.
