Fame On Yvonne Nelson. She Is Just Not Matured, Leave Her To Wallow In Her Ignorance…

blank

We all accept and acknowledge that celebrities are humans and as such should be given some space even though writers and paparazzis should not be stopped from writing and chasing them around. Celebrities should not also forget that they live on fame and as long as they continue to substantially benefit from fame, they will have little privacy in relation to many aspects of their lives.

In the judgement of Baroness Hale during  a recent case in UK involving Naomi Campbell, the UK  court acknowledged that , celebrities benefit from tabloid newspapers and gossip websites and the tabloid newspapers also benefit from these celebrities.  ”Both are grown ups  who know the score”.  Based on the courts deduction, I would want to know if  Yvonne Nelson still does not know the score or what?.

This is and will continue to be a cat and mouse  game.  As celebrities run around enjoying or benefiting from their fame as well as trying to keep certain things private, Taloid newspapers and websites like Ghanacelebrities.Com which want to keep its readers informed of the activites of these celebrity figures, and expose their lies, weakness, evasions and hypocrisies in a hunt down will continue to chase them. ( We have learnt and matured in how to deal with these celebrities, so why dont they also learn ?)…

Fire On The Mountain: Nollywood-Ghallywood Actors Face Trouble: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors

Nollywood
Nollywood

Who started the mess? Oh yes, i mean who, when and why? I don’t want to say that the friendly relationship between the two fake woods (Nollywood/Ghallywood) has gone sour but something is really going wrong. It is official now, Nigerian Actors have to pay $1,000 if they desire or want to act in Ghanaian movies. The article below will give you the full gist.

I would like to mention that, it is unfortunate GC’s  attempt to entertain, educate and inform is sometimes  being turned into insult battles between “some” readers. For your info, we do not take any special interest in putting up Nollywood/Ghallywood or Nigeria/Ghana stories. When they come up, we will put them as we do for any other interesting and intriguing story.

For the last few months, issues and debates in the media have been centred on these two woods and countries. We expect you to discuss these issues without insults. If the “post hijacking” and insults continue, GC may reconsider it’s freedom of expression and speech policy by beginning to moderate and delete insulting comments. We do not want to do this but certain folks are pushing us to have a consideration for this…

All the same, Check out the article which was published in PM News, Nigeria.

Nasara Insists She Is Still Ghana’s Most Beautiful. But I Say She Has No Moral Right To Be Ghana’s Most Beautiful….

Miriam Abdul Rauf AKA Nasara
Miriam Abdul Rauf AKA Nasara

Nasara Miriam Abdul Rauf is still claiming to be Ghana Most Beautiful winner 2009 after Tv3, the organizing body of the beauty pageant has issued a press statement to strip her off the title.

According to Tv3, Nasara has been found guilty in their eyes upon investigation of an alleged phone theft and to maintain the reputation of their pageant, they deem it necessary and fit to strip her off the 2009 title.

Nasara on the other hand has denied stealing any phone and “moving down” the line of set up and an attempt by TV3 to subject her to ridicule.( Why will TV3 make you and unmake you for no reason?, I do not know…)

Reggie Rockstone Makes US$5,000 In First Movie “White Is Black”

blank
Reggie Rockstone

Who says the movie industry is not lucrative. For many who doubt how lucrative the Ghana Film Industry has gotten in the last few years should take a close look at the industry players. The likes of Abdul Salam Mumuni, Shirley Frimpong Manso, Pascal Odikah and Emmanuel Apea through movies have established profitable businesses over the last few years.

For the main acts like Agya Koo, Jackie Appiah, john Dumelo Majid Michel and Nadia Buari they have become millionaires overnight.

Though he seems to have made so much from the music industry, I am pretty sure Reggie Rockstone after picking his cheque of $5,000 dollars at least as we hear from a deep throat source for a role in the latest movie WHITE is BLACK, he will be wondering why he has had to stay out of the movie industry for all this while.

“TV3 Stabbed Me In The Back”, I Have Not Even Be To Uk-Nasara

blank

This is some deep sh*t. I do not even know what to believe in relation to Nasara’s theft allegation and story. Nasara,  Ghana Most Beautiful 2009 is not only saying she did not steal any phone from Miss UK, but  has not even been to UK , the place the action (theft) is said to have taken place.

I was preparing to reach her for an exclusive interview to bring her side of the story, but she has just spoken to Peacefm and as such there is no need for a second talk on this with her.  I am therefore bringing to  GC readers what Nasara told Peacefm….

Embattled beauty queen Nasara, (real name Mariam Abdul Rauf) winner of “Ghana’s Most Beautiful” 2009 pageant who has been stripped off her crown for allegedly stealing a mobile phone belonging to a fellow contestant Miss UK at the Miss Earth 2010, held in the Philippines, has made some revelation in an exclusive interview with peacefmonline.com.

Weekly Discussions, Let’s Get Talking: Why This Animosity and Loathing Between Ghana & Nigeria?

Ghana and Nigeria are not far from each other in terms of geographical proximity. I stand to be corrected on this; I believe that in terms of culture and lifestyle, the two countries are not substantially different.

Sometimes, I find it thorny to distinguish between a Nigerian girl and a Ghanaian girl when they pass me on the street.  Most of the important people in my life are Nigerians. What If I told you my girlfriend or baby’s mother is a Nigerian? To me, Nigerians are not merely our neighbours, they are our sisters and brothers and we share a lot in common than in difference.

On this platform and many others including “outside the virtual world”, there is a growing animosity and loathing between most Ghanaians and Nigerians. I have heard a Nigerian saying, I will never date a Ghanaian and have also come across a Ghanaian saying, I will never date a Nigerian. I do not only find this absurd, but also very shallow.

What Do You Think Of An Open Relationship Or Open Marriage? Would You Agree To An Open Relationship Or Suggest This To A Partner?

blank

I don’t really believe in this Men are from Mars and Women from Venus thing. Neither do I believe in any rules or follow a book when it comes to boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. I just prefer going with the mind and heart. If I recall correctly, there was an article about a specific topic that intrigued me. As usual I enthusiastically shared it with some of my friends. I later on did a little bit of research for more information. Ironically I came across interesting synonyms. Polyamory

It is very fascinating when it comes to relationships, whether parent-children relationship, friendship, husband-wife, boyfriend-girlfriend relationship and so forth. When it comes to parent and children relationship, it is just unconditional, and that is what fascinates me the most. Imagine you have something to count on with no conditions? Isn’t it lovely?
