Living in an absolute dirty country can sometimes be disgusting. One has no other option than to turn a blind eye and live with the reality.
If you are in search of one of the filthiest countries on the globe, look no further because Ghana – the gateway to Africa – is unconditionally one of them. It is not surprising that the country was recently ranked 7th as the world’s dirtiest country.
Day in day out, the volume of filth in the country increases, without any proper measures put in place to curb it.
Apart from few well-planned communities where cleanliness is key, all other communities in Ghana define dirtiness to its core. It seems the government and citizens have not learnt their lessons after the recent flood caused by poor drainage systems and choked gutters on June 3, 2015 claimed the lives of several individuals.
Former CNN journalist and now a DailyMail columnist-Piers Morgan has slammed rapper Nicki Minaj for playing the race card, following her failure to receive nominations in the 2015 2015 MTV VMAs’ Video of the Year category.
Nicki Minaj felt that her two videos ‘Anaconda’ and ‘Feeling Myself’ were not nominated though they deserve nominations because she is black—and also because she is not a ‘slim’ artiste…
Piers Morgan who couldn’t take Nicki Minaj’s playing of the race card in an article published on MailOnline said Nicki Minaj is talking BS—and actually went in hard on her.
Piers wrote;
“I experienced at first hand what a stroppy little piece of work she could be when she appeared as a guest act on America’s Got Talent when I was still a judge on the show.
My three sons, aged 16, 13 and 9 at the time, were keen to get a photo with her backstage.
I approached her dressing room, where she was lounging and yawning on a couch, and made the polite request.
Back came the message: ‘No.’
‘Sorry?’ I replied.
‘Ms Minaj is not available.’
‘Not even to say hello?’
‘NOT. AVAILABLE.’
My audience with her goons was over and I had to break the news to my sons that ‘Ms Minaj’ was too busy doing nothing to grant them a second of her precious time.
She proceeded to scowl her way through her entire time with AGT, on stage and off.
I thought of this when I watched Twitter blow up last night with Minaj’s angry rant about her supposed snub at the hands of the MTV Video Music Awards.

Ghana has been ranked the 7th dirtiest country in the world according to a new report. The sad thing is we failed to climb to the first position considering the amount of filth piled up in the country.
In last year’s global sanitation report, Ghana was ranked 10th worst country in the globe. Sadly, the government and citizens could not do anything to improve the situation, thereby slipping 3 positions further to take the 7th position.
It seems the Yvonne Nelson led Dumsor vigil which became the talk of the country a few months ago was not politically independent—as it has emerged that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gave the actress GH¢5000 to ‘support’ the campaign.
And ironically, this claim is not coming from the headquarters of the ruling party, against which the protest can be said to have been staged. Rather, it is coming from people within the NPP.
A certain Baah Acheamfour who i s a spokesperson for the ‘Save NPP Now’ pressure group and also a communication member of NPP has disclosed that his party supported the popular #DumsorMustStop campaign financially, stating that, in fact Yvonne Nelson was GH¢5000—per John Boadu, the party’s National Organiser’s budget presentation.
Deborah Vanessa who calls herself ‘The African Mermaid” is currently in the United States—and it’s been one party after the other, with her recent being a pool party.
She did not go there alone—she went with some banging friends all dressed in different types of swim-wears. Some where confident enough to show us some skin and others could not, for the obvious reason that they’ve been eating a lot of banku and cow feet without any exercise.
But hey, what will a girl do?

Following United States of America’s Supreme Court legalization of same-s*x marriage, Mozambique has ceased to treat homosexuality as criminal offence in its penal code at a time where other African countries are tightening anti-gay laws, the BBC reports.
This move adds Mozambique to the few African countries like South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast where gay and lesbian relationships are legal.
The recent pronouncement by the United States of America’s Supreme Court guaranteeing right to same-sex marriage has opened way for many individuals, especially human rights advocates to share their thoughts on the ruling.
For members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bis*xual, and Transgender (LGBT) community in America, this comes as a great news for them since they can legitimately express their emotional feelings towards one another without any fear.
Manager of Shatta Wale, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as BullDog has descended heavily on the host of Hitz Fm’s ‘Taxi Driver’ – Blakk Rasta.
In a Facebook post on Thursday night, Bulldog said he never knew the radio presenter cum musician could ever be remorseful. He further went on to state that his (Blakk Rasta) action has rather brought disgrace to his parents who brought him up well.
Programs Manager of Hitz Fm, Mark Okraku Mante, also received his fair share of attack by the artiste manager. Angry BullDog quizzed if Mark was indeed the Programs Manager of the radio station or he was also an ‘errand boy’ – a word Mark had previously used to describe Sarkodie’s business manager – Sammy Forson.
He however advised Mark Okraku Mante to zip the slanderous lips of Blakk Rasta and also discontinue the attitude of professing doom for Ghanaian artistes.
