Shatta Wale Floors Ofori Amponsah In Separate Bible Verse Recital Interviews

The Self-acclaimed ‘Dancehall King’ – Shatta Wale – might be on his way to becoming the new man of God in town after rapper-turned-pastor, Lord Kenya, prophesied that he will soon be doing the work of God.

The front-runner of Shatta Movement has of late been very religious in his utterances. In his recent interview on Starr FM, Shatta Wale disclosed that he has his Bible close to him every day – be it in the studio or home – and that’s what he’s using to direct the ways of his newborn son, Majesty.

According to him, even though he’s often pressured by his friends to seek the help of native doctors to aid him succeed in his career, he has never engaged himself in any form of spiritism or ‘juju’ before because he believes in the direction of the Supreme Being – God.

Ghanaian dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, prevalently known as Shatta Wale has stated that he loves his colleague dancehall artiste, Samini, so much.

The proclamation comes at a time when it is widely believed there is an ongoing feud between the two top dancehall acts.

In an interview with Bola Ray and Anita Erskine on Accra-based Starr FM on Thursday, November 5, 2015, Shatta Wale opined there’s no dispute between Samini and himself.

Anima Misa Says She Has No Idea Who God Is

Ace Ghanaian actress and sister of Kweku Sintim Misa (KSM), Joyce Anima Misa Amoah, has stated emphatically that she has no idea who an all-powerful being called God is.

The renowned actress made this assertion when she appeared as guest on Starr Chat, a weekly program on Accra-based Starr FM hosted by broadcast journalist, Bola Ray.

According to Anima, there exist no such all-powerful being called God who resides in the skies. She said people should therefore stop picturing that there’s a higher power above the skies controlling the whole universe.

Fuse ODG Beats Shatta Wale Et al To Win Best African Act at MOBOs + Full Winners List

UK based Afrobeats musician of Ghanaian descent – Fuse ODG (born Nana Richard Abiona) – has beaten Shatta Wale, Davido, Wizkid et al to win the Best International Act, Africa at the just ended 20th edition of the Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBOs).

This makes it the third time the artiste has emerged winner in the said category after successively winning in 2013 and 2014.

The awards which took place at the First Direct Arena in London on November 4, 2015 also saw Drake win the Best International Album with ‘If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late’.

Bice Osei Kuffuor, popularly known as Obour, has been re-elected as the president of Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) for the second time.

The election which took place at Oyinka Hotel in Koforidua on Saturday, October 31, 2015 saw Obour win with a total of 88 votes. He was been contested by renowned sound engineer, Appietus born (Appiah Dankwah), and ace musician, Gyedu Blay Ambolley.

Award winning dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale (born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr) has parted ways with his manager, Bulldog.

In a press statement signed by Kendrick Yehowada (CEO of Bullhaus Entertainment) on Saturday, 31st October, 2015, Bullhaus Entertainment said they are humbled to have been part of Shatta Wale’s success story and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.

However, what seems to be a mutual agreement between both parties as portrayed in the press statement, an audio from Shatta Wale goes contrary to that.

After the release of Ofori Amponsah’s ‘Alewa’ track, runner up of TV3 Mentor 1, Andy, came out to state that Ofori’s song belonged to him. The person who masterminded this thievery, according to Andy, was Highlife singer – Kofi Nti – of Rakia fame.

Conversely, Kofi Nti has denied ever giving out Andy’s lyrics to Ofori Amponsah. Responding to the allegation on Atinka FM, Kofi Nti said Andy sent the song to his (Kofi Nti) manager to listen because he (Andy) wanted to feature him (Kofi Nti) on the song.

What has created a hostile relationship between believers and homosexuals in most parts of Africa including Ghana is the church—as countless doctrines of the church condemn homosexuals and brand same sex relationship evil.

While religious dogmatism take center-stage in Africa, the West have decided to grow beyond this—decorating their enviable version of civilisation with valuable principles such as treating all persons equal, irrespective of their colour, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

In light of the above, the Presbyterian Church in the USA announced earlier this year that it would “formally approve gay marriages”

That was even before the famous US Supreme Court verdict, that homosexuals have a constitutional right to marry—and therefore a denial of this right would be a violation of the supreme law of the land.

When the US Presbyterian Church made its Gay approval announcement, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana jumped to their neck—promising to sever all ties with them.

The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Professor Emmanuel Martey at the time said: “the US Presbyterian church is not a “bible-believing church” and Ghana will have no part in accepting a demonic practice.

He continued: “It is only the church…the true church that Satan is afraid of. Satan is not afraid of United States army or any other army. It is only the church…the church of Christ.”

Woman Who Gave Birth on A Plane to USA Deported Home Without Her Baby

A woman who gave birth in the skies with the video of the delivery (below) having gone viral is facing the downside of the story: she has been deported back to Taiwan by US officials without her baby, claims Chinese and Taiwanese media.

And that’s not all, reports say she may be ordered to pay 30,000 dollars for diverting the flight that she was on and causing delays with her delivery.

The woman known by only her surname- Jian who was on board China Airlines flight, from Bali to Los Angeles forced the plane to make an emergency landing in Alaska after the her waters broke six hours into the 19-hour flight.

Reports say US officials have accused her of intentionally flying around the due stage of her baby—so that she could just claim citizenship for her baby, popularly known as the Anchor baby scheme.
