According to Myjoyonline.com report, Ace broadcaster, Kwami Sefa Kayi says the policy of paying TV license fee being advocated by the Ghana Media Commission is not the solution to the woes of the national broadcaster, Ghana Broadcasting Company (GBC).

“There is too much wastage in GBC…there is a lot of waste in GBC and no one is doing anything about it…George Sarpong knows the fundamental problem with GBC, it is not about collecting TV license…,” Sefa Kayi said on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Programme on Tuesday.

It started in February when Magi, annoyed at a driver who took up two handicap-parking spaces in her apartment’s lot, posted a photo (since removed, per the Sydney Morning Herald) of the car on Facebook.

The 39-year-old didn’t include any identifying elements in the photo, the ABC notes—but the next thing she knew, a complaint was filed and she was in an Abu Dhabi courtroom, where she was found guilty under a UAE cybercrime law of “writing bad words on social media about a person,” hit with a $2,700 fine, and told she’d be deported from Abu Dhabi, where she’s lived since 2012.

Asked by ABC what she had done, she replied, “I have zero idea. I used the Internet.” She adds she was forced to sign documents written in Arabic, with no translation provided.

Gossipcop reported that, Accounts purportedly run by someone named Derek with the Twitter handles “@DTAustin21_” and “DTAustin21x,” which is now suspended, have been sending out tweets threatening Styles, and warning that something will happen to him on August 5 during One Direction’s concert in New Jersey. “I Made This Account To Let Everyone Know That Harry Styles Will Die, August 5th 2015, At MetLife Stadium,” he wrote in one tweet.

Fake Hitz FM Presenter Who Claims To Be Dj Awana Busted

A young man who has been posing as DJ Awana of Hitz FM and defrauding people has been arrested by the Dansoman police.

According to Myjoyonline.com, the imposter wrote DJ Awana’s official name, George Tetteh, on the back of the Hitz FM branded T-shirt he was wearing at the time of his arrest. He made representations to teachers of the Avemaria School Complex in Dansoman that he worked with the station.
