A Homestead, Florida woman, Leia Hagewood has become a social media viral phenomenon after being arrested for assaulting her niece’s black girlfriend she brought home for a Christmas dinner.

TikTok user, Heartzfromsan shared video talking about her experience at the home of her girlfriend when she visited for Christmas.

According to her, her girlfriend’s extended family had gotten together for the holidays and were all together and having a good time with her when things went south.

She revealed that whilst in her girlfriend’s room, she was attacked by her friend’s aunty who was identified as Leia Hagewood of Homestead via her mugshot.

Hagewood started raining blows of her, Shan narrated and said she fell down and injured herself. She said she passed out and came to with her girlfriend struggling with her own aunt to get her off her.

She said the cops were called and Leia Hagewood was arrested and booked.

Shan showed off the bruises and injuries she sustained as a result of the attack. Her video, shared to her TikTok page, had over 4million views at the time of publishing this piece.

Reactions to her post were from people mostly shocked at the actions of the aunty.

“Please do yourself a favor and stay away from that family 😔 even if that means having to let go of a girlfriend that you love, you deserve to feel safe,” one comment read.

Another said: “Please tell me you’re pressing charges and breaking up with that girl,”
