The ex-wife of Ghanaian footballer Majeed Waris, Habiba Sinare, has issued a stern warning to haters who have been berating her, following her recent interview about Northern Men and how difficult it is to be married to them.
According to her, anyone who wishes to berate her can go ahead but they shouldn’t dare attack her mother.
This was after Habiba stated emphatically that after her terrible experience, she will never marry a Northerner again. She said this during an interview with Ms Gee, where she revealed that her ex-husband, Waris, consistently prioritized his family over their relationship, causing her immense emotional pain.
“He told me he wouldn’t choose me over his family,” Habiba revealed, “That sentence still echoes in my life. When he said that, I thought, ‘Wow, I wasn’t family after all. I told him, ‘I’m done. There’s nothing left. I don’t feel anything for you any more”. She disclosed.
Reacting to this, some people who disagreed with her generalization of Northern men called her out. They lambasted her for degrading men from her hometown.
But Habiba is ready to defend herself and her mother if she is disrespected.
