Probably I should blame the current trend of books I have been spending my time reading…My table is ‘mounted’ with books such as The God Delusion, Da Vinci Code, Decoding Da Vinci, And God Said Let There Be Evolution among others.
For some years now, I have been questioning the existence of God and the whole sacred theory surrounding GOD.
It gets more confused the inner I dig into the various doctrines and teachings surrounding the existence of God….The Holy Trinity, The Heaven & Hell theory and the whole Judgement day ‘thing’.
The way and manner things are rolling in our physical world makes it even worse and seem to seal my current thinking that…Probably God does not exist.
Let’s look at ourselves, our family, our environment and the world at large. A lot of people with no contact or believe in God are successful, doing great and living enviable lives. Majority of us tangled in this whole GOD stuff seem to be struggling…
Innocent children are being killed in wars they know nothing about. Famine & extreme poverty is killing children who do not even have the conscience to decide on what is good and bad…Where is God in all these? I thought God was Just, Merciful, Faithful and a Saviour…
Where does your belief belong? Is there God? What will happen to our forefathers who lived before the coming of Christianity and Islam to Africa? Will they all go to hell since they did not know the way the truth and the life-Jesus Christ?
