This is not an official gist from the camp of Turning Point Pictures but I have been reliably informed that, Ace Direction/Scriptwriter Leila Djansi is set to shoot her next big movie “Ties That Bind”.
I have been contemplating about what could be next for Leila Djansi after the praises “Sinking Sands” attracted from various movie lovers and critics.
As a result of the superb work that was done in “Sinking Sands”, Leila Djansi seems to have created a standard which she has to beat or uphold with her subsequent movies. Can Leila nail it once again with “Ties That Bind”?
The casting looks great and I cannot wait to see what Leila will pull out of John Dumelo, Omotola Ekeinde and David Dontoh.
In “Ties That Bind”, “ Adobea, Buki and Theresa are three women from different walks of life bound together by a similar pain; the loss of a child. In a destined meeting in a small village in Kroboland, the women journey together to redemption, love, life and forgiveness as they renovate a dilapidated clinic for the villagers”.
