I Will Never Wish To Be Like You- Okatakyie Afrifa Fights Back At Wode Maya

Controversial media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa has fired back at Africa’s best YouTuber, Wode Maya.

Okatakyie Afrifa has responded to Wode Maya after the latter stated that the media personality wishes he were him.

“Let’s be real! Deep down, you all wish to be like Wode Maya. Siaasem!”, Wode Maya wrote on his official X, formerly Twitter page.

In response to this, Okatakyie Afrifa has said that he has never thought of being like Wode Maya.

The media personality bragged that he can do everything Wode Maya does, and even does it better than the YouTuber.

“Before we go, there is a young guy called Wode Maya. He has made a tweet that has become a topic of online discussion. First of all, what Wode Maya is doing is different from what I am doing. Whatever he is doing, he is doing it well. But what he is doing is not my focus. So Wode Maya is at no point my target. You are promoting Ghana, you are promoting Africa but we wouldn’t see nonchalantly and watch you do these at the expense of Ashantis and our dignity. I have told you on several occasions that I would not wake up and attack anyone but we will not sit down unconcerned and allow you people to continuously attack us”, Okatakyie Afrifa said.

He went on to add that “I have heard people say he has taken to social media to state that all of us want to be like him. Only, let me tell you this. First of all, i don’t wish to be like you in any shape or form. You know, most of the social media handles are not being managed by me. With YouTube, I learnt you people have even stopped posting there. Because what motivates me is not the monthly stipend. What am I using that for?”
