Rafik Mahama, the special aide of business tycoon, Ibrahim Mahama has disclosed the current state of Suzzy Pinamang, the Adventist student who lost her eyesight some months ago.
Rafik Mahama took to his official social media pages to share a video of Pinamang walking without external help and disclosed that the young student is feeling better now.
A part of the communique released by Rafik Mahama states that Suzzy Pinamang underwent an eye surgery on June 2, 2025, at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom.
The special aide of the business mogul revealed that even though Suzzy has not fully recovered, she could now see and would be better as soon as possible.
The Ibrahim Mahama’s team used the opportunity to thank the Minister for foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, the media, the family of Suzzy among others for contributing their quota towards Suzzy’s health.

UPDATE: SUCCESSFUL SURGERY AND STEADY RECOVERY: SUZZY PINAMANG I am pleased to announce that Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang successfully underwent her scheduled eye surgery on June 2, 2025, at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom, one of the world’s leading and most renowned eye hospitals.
The operation was a success, and Suzzy is now on the path to full recovery. She has already begun regaining her independence and is now able to see on her own.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the medical teams in both Ghana and the United Kingdom, particularly the exceptional team at Moorfields Eye Hospital, as well as the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Ghana High Commission in London, outgoing UK High Commissioner to Ghana, HE Harriet Thompson, Hon.
