Throwback Video – Dada KD Reveals He Dated Daddy Lumba’s Estranged Girlfriend And Had Babies With Her

A controversial video has surfaced on social media following the unfortunate death of highlife musician Dada Kwakye Duah, affectionately called Dada KD.

A video of the late highlife musician has sparked a social media outburst as he revealed that he unknowingly dated highlife legend Daddy Lumba’s estranged girlfriend, who lives abroad.

In the video, Dada KD explained he was unaware that Lumba had an affair with the unnamed woman, as he had introduced him to her.

According to Dada KD, Lumba introduced him to the alleged rich woman so she could help him with his documentation, but along the line, they ended up dating as they both showed interest in each other.

In an interview, Dada KD disclosed that he did not have a clue or information about Lumba and his girlfriend until later, when it was too late.

He discovered that Lumba had dated the woman for 10 years and had separated when the introduction was made. And though the lady was fully aware of everything, she didn’t see anything wrong with their relationship since Lumba had not married her and didn’t even refer to her as his partner.

According to Dada KD, his friendship with Lumba grew cold over time as the mishap caused a brawl between them.

Highlife musician Dada KD died on May 16th 2025, following a short illness. The report says he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he passed on.

Currently, the cause of his death is not known.

Dada KD reportedly returned to Ghana from the United States a few weeks ago. He was said to be working on his next visa for a show in the UK before his untimely passing! May his soul rest in peace.
