I Did Not Want To See Someone Wearing What I Was Wearing- Nana Akua Reveals Why She Did Not Attend TGMA



Fashionista, Nana Akua Addo has brought to the limelight why she did not appear at the recently held TGMA.

The fashionista has attributed her failure to the TGMA to looks, stating that she does not want to see anyone wearing what she wore.

Nana Akua claims before she attends an event, she spends a lot of time to make numerous research.

According to her, she spends a lot of time checking what people wore to the previous event to see what went wrong and what went right.

She noted that, doing such research enables her to be able to introduce something new, correct old mistakes and fill in omissions if possible.

She claims the focus of doing this is to ensure she is unique and different from the other numerous people who have attended the event.

“To be unique, to be different, and also to stand out, you want to go back to previous looks, see what hasn’t been done, what people haven’t seen”, the fashionista noted, adding that “I always like to introduce something new, a new technique in terms of sewing in terms of intricacy in fashion and design”.

Speaking on her failure to attend the recently held TGMA, Nana Akua Addo stated that she did not want to appear on the red carpet only to see other people wearing what she wore.

She revealed that she always prays that such does not happen because she spends a lot of time on what she wears.

“I always pray that I never show up on the red carpet and see someone else wearing my look. These are things we carefully plan for. That is the reason it seems like I go beyond, because when you are going to Nigeria, the red carpet is unmatched”, she noted as she compared Ghana to Nigeria in terms of appearance on red carpet.
