Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician, currently a member of Alan Kyeremanten’s Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye, fired back at Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, aka Nana Agradaa, after her latest attack on his wife, Empress Gifty Adorye.
Nana Agradaa mocked Empress Gifty, who is a gospel musician, for destroying her beauty by undergoing too many cosmetic surgery procedures. That attack came after he tagged her as a pr*stitute who has been having numerous affairs despite her marriage.
Reacting to Nana Agradaa, Hopeson shared a video alongside his wife in which he said she undergoes surgeries because he likes beautiful things. He then dared Agradaa to do the same if she thought she was a rich woman.
“Why are you claiming my wife has undergone surgery on her tummy and backside? If you have money, why not also go for the surgery?” Hopeson Adorye said. “When I see something beautiful on a woman, I tell my wife to go and do the same procedure. I give her money to go for these cosmetic surgeries.”
Empress Gifty expressed support for her husband, backing up everything he said.
Nana Agradaa, in a viral video, attacked Empress Gifty for completely destroying her body by undergoing needless cosmetic surgeries.
She said due to the procedures, she has become an old woman and showed off an unflattering photo of Gifty to the camera. Agradaa claimed that Empress Gifty’s late mother, Evangelist Aba Annan, popularly known as Agaga, who died in December 2024 aged 70, looked more beautiful than her daughter at the time of her death.
Agradaa also repeated her attacks on Empress, alleging she has engaged in affairs with an uncountable number of men in Tema. She also accused the gospel singer of refusing to pay her bills when she visited the laundry.
She also mocked Hopeson Adorye for being impotent and broke, mincing no words in her attack.
Hopeson Adorye and Nana Agradaa commenced a heated beef this week after Hopeson reacted to a video of Sammy Gyamfi giving cash to the preacher, which went viral and kicked off a political firestorm. Speaking in reaction to the video, he said politicians should steer clear of Agradaa since she is evil and a magnet for controversy. He asked foot soldiers of the NDC to assault her and also threatened her for speaking ill about him and his wife.
