You Need to Throw A Party for the Offended NDC Footsoldiers – Sonnie Badu Advises Sammy Gyamfi, Begs Mahama for Mercy

Ghanaian man of God and gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, advised Sammy Gyamfi to throw a ‘make-up’ party for NDC footsoldiers offended by a video showing him gifting Nana Agradaa about $800.

Badu took to social media to react to the trending case of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Gold Board (Goldbod), after a video showing him counting and handing over dollars to the former fetish priestess turned ‘prophetess’ sparked backlash.

NDC footsoldiers attacked Gyamfi over his actions, lamenting the fact that Nana Agradaa lobbed unprintable insults at President Mahama prior to the election yet appears to be enjoying from his victory.

Meanwhile, many of the foot soldiers who fought in the trenches for the party’s victory are yet to reap any benefits from their party being in power.

The aggrieved foot soldiers’ reaction forced Gyamfi to issue an apology. However, Sonnie Badu said he has go even further to win them back. The gospel singer suggested organising a ‘make-up’ party and inviting party footsoldiers to ‘enjoy’.

In another part of his post, Sonnie Badu begged the President, John Dramani Mahama, to forgive Sammy Gyamfi and take no action against him.

He said, based on the video, it appears Sammy Gyamfi was invited to Agradaa’s church and felt the need to ‘bless’ her before leaving.

“From the visuals out, It looks like he was being discreet hence the reason why he did it in the car and not in the church. Unfortunately for him, he was recorded on video,” Sonnie Badu said. “Indeed, in a season such as this, it does not look good but dad please, show him mercy and give him a second chance. It would have been an error for him to go to a church and not bless them.”

Badu said Sammy Gyamfi fought really hard to secure the NDC’s victory, and it will be a travesty of justice for him to be fired over one slight mistake.

In a related development, popular hype man, Appiah Stadium, passed similar comments, calling on NDC foot soldiers to forgive Sammy Gyamfi for his actions. According to Appiah Stadium, it appears Sammy Gyamfi was set up and Agradaa is the one to blame for the incident.
