Stop Apologising to People – Efia Odo Advises Adjoa Tee Over Dating Scammers Comment

Ghanaian actress Efia Odo has called on her colleague, co-host of the Rants, Bants and Confessions (RBC) podcast, Adjoa Tee, to refrain from apologising for her opinions.

Adjoa Tee recently set off an online firestorm after revealing that she loves dating scammers because they are rich and have a lot of time to shower her with attention.

She compared them favourably to lawyers, who she described as stingy and not affectionate.

Adjoa Tee’s comments triggered an online backlash as people attacked her for lacking morals and good judgment.

In reaction to the attacks, Adjoa Tee shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), promising to be more circumspect with her opinions going forward.

“I’m sorry I talk too much , will do better,” she shared in a tweet sent out around 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Efia Odo, who co-hosts the RBC podcast with Adjoa Tee and was questioning her when she made those comments, jumped to her defence.

She advised her that she should never apologise for her opinions because people either love or hate you and would not change their minds no matter what you say.

“Girl just be yourself and stop apologizing to people,” Odo tweeted. “They don’t care and neither should you. Always do what’s best for TEE. Monday they hate you Tuesday they love you, both days you’re still great,”

A controversial personality herself, Efia Odo has made many statements that triggered online backlash and has always remained unapologetic. Her skimpy dress style also stoked controversy for years, but Odo remained herself and only toned things down when she felt like it and not at the behest of social media trolls.

What Adjoa Tee said

During a recent episode of the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, the ladies discussed the kind of occupation their partners should be involved with.

Adjoa Tee said she likes men who have a lot of time on their hands to shower her with attention, and gave scammers as an example.

“I like somebody that spends time with me, that has time for me, that gives me so much attention,” she said. “I wouldn’t mind dating a scammer because he’s always home,”
