Koo Fori Pleaded Not Guilty And Granted Bail



Veteran Kumawood actor known for his exceptional performance in the popular “Efie Wura” series, Koo Fori has been granted bail.

The actor appeared before the Dansoman Circuit Court today, May 12 where all the charges leveled against him were read before him.

It is reported that the veteran actor denied all the charges leveled against him.

Koo Fori claims he never took a whooping amount of $50,000 from a US based Ghanaian between the years 2021 and 2022.

The actor noted that the last time he checked, he never came to a consensus that someone should send him money to purchase land and building materials.

The actor has therefore been pleased guilty and granted bail.

The popular actor was arrested by the Accra Central police command on May 9.

The report claims the manager of Dadi Multimedia was arrested for defrauding a USA-based Ghanaian an amount of 50k dollars.

According to the information available at the news desk of Ghana Celebrities, Koo Fori and the victim came to a consensus that the victim was going to send the actor 50k dollars so that the actor could invest it for him.

However, after receiving the huge amount from the victim, it is reported that Koo Fori was nowhere to be found; he did not pick up the calls of the victim nor did he revert to his calls or messages.

After using other means to reach out to him all to no avail, the victim came to realize that Koo Fori had spent the money sent to him that was meant for an investment.

To get back his money, the victim who currently lives in California decided to Involve the police to facilitate things.

Sadly enough, the aged actor defaulted on payment and refused to appear before the Dansoman District court on April 17.

The failure to make payment and appear before the court called for the arrest of the veteran actor.
